I'm running it with redkernel and I have no problems although I only use a 32Gb card. On another topic my system ui crashes sometimes. I'm on 268 dpi...
How did you change screen resolution/DPI?

To anyone running this ROM on their Gpad - any problems using/reading their external SD card? Having problems with Slimkat. I can copy files to internal SD and external SD. Both versions show, but only the internal SD will play/can be used. Was wondering if I flash Mahdi, will the external SD card issue be fixed, and can I use it then? Hate not being able to use my 64gb ext SD card. tried kitkat external SD patches, etc, but no luck.

Thanks all!:good:
UPDATE -
Flashed latest Mahdi with Redkernel , then gapps, then my TiBu update.zip. All worked flawlessly. My external SD card is now being read and was able to watch a movie from it.
Interesting though - copies on the ext SD that didn't work before, I recopied them onto ext SD, and now they worked. Even though same older version on ext SD didn't. Strange.

regardless only 1 day on this ROM and its great. Really enjoy the look/feel/options.

Thanks!:laugh::good:

I'm running Mahdi 8/5 with RedKernel 8. Everything is good except for 2 problems:

1. I sometimes get a problem that others have reported that the screen is unresponsive to touch after a reboot This happens about every 4th time that I reboot.

2. Using the Chrome browser, if I choose "Share" from the menu to send a link to a web page, the tablet freezes briefly then reboots. I don't know for sure if this is a Chrome problem or a Mahdi problem, but it's annoying.

Does anybody else have these problems and/or know of a fix?

When can Miracast actually be fixed?
There is like a 5 secs delay when connecting to my android TV box, where is works great on stock firmware.

@Mahdi786 Anyone know where I can get the version of this ROM that will work with 4.2.2? I'm on LG Stock ROM now 50010a with stock kernel 3.4.0. I downgraded from 4.4.4 b/c external SD card issues.

I just don't know which Mahdi-ROM zip is compatible with my 4.2.2 version.

Thanks so much all! :highfive:

Possibly, it might be another dev cooking the ROM with Mahdi's concent and releasing it in this thread, unfortunately I won't be able to test as I may be selling my GPad on Monday and saving up for a Tetra K1 device (most likely the Xiaomi Mipad)

Not asking for ETA, But will Tinted Status Bars be added to this ROM before we get a final version?
I'm using Mahdi's Final build for OnePlus One.. And TSB is an awesome feature to have..

I'm a bit confused about which base (4.2 or 4.4) works best with this rom. Seems to me that I've seen suggestions that there are different issues that arise depending on which base you use. Can somebody clarify for me?

4.2 base for the ROM and its kernel. 4.4 base if flashing Mani or Red kernel after ROM.

In my opinion Mahdi is the reason I have no desire to update my LG G pad. Works like a dream on your Rom.

As soon as Android L is released on Monday does that mean G Pad developer will be able to start cooking straight away or will it take a while for source codes to come out???????

Guys, I really have an issue with my External SDCard disappearing intermittently irrespective of which AOSP-based ROM I run...no such issue on LOG stock ROMs once I have applied the SDCardFix thingy...but on AOSP after some reboots the external sd card randomly disappears and then I have to reboot to get it back and access my files. I have a 64GB KIngston Class XDHC micro-SD card...I really wanna run a Mahdi ROM permanently...Please any hints/tips will be greatly appreciated...

We will have to wait and see if the source is released simultaneously. And you need device specific drivers for a full ROM.

I'm on this ROM with a 64gb external sd card that works. I had to install the xposed module "KitKat SD card full access" for sd card though. After installing and rebooting it works flawlessly. Good luck!
