Drivers (libs or blobs) are provided by device or SoC vendor. If device vendor didn't modify them, drivers can be taken from another (for example upgraded to L), device. Of course old kernel must be adjusted, system, etc... Or modify Android to work with older drivers and kernel.
I had this with a 64 GB card.... Turned out the card was on its last legs lol

I had the same thought with my 32gb Adata card. It was constantly being rescanned, which I thought was the source of my battery drain (which it was). Replaced it with a new Samsung Evo 32gb and it stopped giving me the ejected/inserted/scanning media notifications, but the battery drain persisted (on both PA and Mahdi). I gave up and now I just keep it removed until I need it.
I never had issues with my 64gb microsd card, not with the stock or the madhi roms...
Can anybody tell me, why chrome beta is the once app, running as a window?
How can I change this? The rom itself runs supersmooth with red-kernel.

Press home button when you have chrome beta open. Then press recents button and enter chrome beta again. Now it will be okey.
I like this rom but can not connect the tablet to the PC. Unable to SD memory card or internal memory. I installed all the drivers.

I have the same problem with the new Chrome version opening in window mode. Opening it from recents fixes it temporarily, but the problem comes back again when I open a new tab from a link or if I open the browser from the icon. This is a real PITA. I tried the Chrome beta app, but it has the same problem. I finally just downgraded the Chrome app to the factory version to fix the problem.
I've read that other users on different devices and ROMs are having the same problem, but apparently it doesn't affect all devices or ROMs.
Does anybody else have a solution for this?
where is the options to choose the animations for apps opening, closing...?

HI there .. thanks for great rom .. just installed it (first had to force it back to 4.2.2, elst twrp wouldnt install).
i have trouble with my case (with magnetic cover) - i know a lot of guys asked to have this feature included in the rom (which is nice), but there should be a way/switch to disable it.
I have trouble with it, as when i have the cover turned all the way to the back of the device it often triggers the magnet and the display often switches off and back on during normal use/handling.
Also i am having sound-bugs .. eg during playing Sky Force.
The extra buttons in the Navigation Bar (like Notifications/Menu) dont turn to black on the dynamic colour-change-thingy .. dont know it those buttons are drawn or bitmaps.. maybe just the black bitmaps are missing or the change-colour-of-the-buttons-onthefly routine misses the extra buttons

If you're running with Dalvik and not ART, you can use xposed + xhalofloatingwindow module to blacklist Chrome and prevent it from using floating window mode. I have this running on my V500 atm and it works a treat.
Chrome floating window bug
For those of you who are annoyed by the recent Chrome floating window bug, here's an update:
The Google Code website has this info:
Chrome beta and now release are setting the Intent flag: FLAG_ACTIVITY_RETAIN_IN_RECENTS = 0x00002000; which was introduced in Lollipop
and is non existent on KitKat. That flag was used to start apps in Floating mode for custom roms that added that feature.
Hence why it starts in floating mode for those roms.
=> The best would be that Chrome test the API version and set only that flag on >= Lollipop, because that flag is not supposed to exist on KitKat
In the meantime I migrated the floating window flag to another free value in the KatKiss rom.
Custom roms can do that as a workaround.
Another post indicates that this is scheduled to be fixed in Chrome v41. My workaround until it's fixed is to uninstall updates to Chrome and then turn off auto update in the Play Store.

First of all i aplogise i just bought this tablet, is this safe to install on 4.4.2?
Been using it for 3 days, smooth, bugs free and good battery life. Excellent rom as expected from mahdi. Thanks.
