Clean flashed 4.3 AOKP NightlyIf you're going to post "issues" please provide details. Something not working doesn't tell me anything about your setup, what exactly you're doing, etc.
Lockring or Navring? Secure or unsecure lockscreen? It works fine here btw.Clean flashed 4.3 AOKP Nightly
Stock Kernel
Option is selected under lock screen to have glow torch for the lock screen ring. Even with option enabled the torch does not turn on.
Tried using torch using toggle and torch app and it works fine.
I figured it out..I been using using Pacman for too long and it didn't have the lockring torch that i missed a lot. I always use custom themes. I didn't think my custom themes would effect the function of the lockring (other than visually) but it actually breaks the lock ring torch. Switched back to stock and it's working. Sorry to waste your time.Lockring or Navring? Secure or unsecure lockscreen? It works fine here btw.
It does not because there are still issues I feel keep it from being ready for release. Biggest of which is an annoying double button press on the back key.By chance does the 4.3 test build have Custom Buttons or Soft Key Options implemented in it? I remember Juba saying there were problems with it over a month ago and hope it is resolved by now. Downloading your test build now can't wait to see the progress in 4.3 from Team Kang thanks for sharing your test build Akellar.
I'm not sure who has it implemented perfectly since the Pacman rom kangs from cm, aokp, and pa but they have options for "Buttons" which is highly customizable and works well zero problems with the double back key is it possible you guys can use that code or is it against the team's policies? Regardless the build is running very nicley so far.:laugh:It does not because there are still issues I feel keep it from being ready for release. It's CM's code that you are referring to. We have no policy against using other's code in general. I haven't been involved with this piece so not sure why we went our own way with it. Hopefully it gets sorted out before too long as I would like to see it as well.I'm not sure who has it implemented perfectly since the Pacman rom kangs from cm, aokp, and pa but they have options for "Buttons" which is highly customizable and works well zero problems with the double back key is it possible you guys can use that code or is it against the team's policies? Glad I'm not the only one who would like to see this code being implemented into Aokp in future builds. Maybe you can talk it over with Roman and Zapphod or anyone else on team who has been involved in that piece and get it for our phones. It's the only feature missing from an obviously wonderful rom which has been my rom of choice since one of the first builds for the GNexus. It's CM's code that you are referring to. Do you have quiet hours set? Is it turned on in settings? Keep looking for a reason, works fine here and haven't heard any other mention of it.Only issue I have is no led notification light, clean install, stock kernel

Agree...I have not seen this implemented 100% correctly on any rom...even pacman. The double back press issue makes this unusable. It does not because there are still issues I feel keep it from being ready for release. Biggest of which is an annoying double button press on the back key.
A few team members have had similar issues as well. It's known but at this time it's unclear if it's something in our source or an AOSP issue. Sorry no timeframe for a fix.I have an issue I could use some help on...I am traveling...so at the Holiday Inns or similar Wi-Fi spots, The WiFi is open and the phone connects but then a WiFi notification icon appears in the upper left hand corner asking you to sign in. Inbthia case you use the password the hotel provides you with. The problem is, when I drag the notification bar down, there is nothing to select. All I can see is the quick access panel. I flashed this and pacman. Same results. Had to flash back to beans last night so I could use WiFi...Any suggestions?

It worked well when I flashed 4.3 Pac recently just to see what all the fuss is about. I've been flipping roms just to see what's out there but most of the other roms seemed bloated compared to Aokp. All the features I use are from Aokp can't wait until official 4.3 nightlies.Agree...I have not seen this implemented 100% correctly on any rom...even pacman. The double back press issue makes this unusable.
