Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

what kernel do u use?
my phone charges normally with stock kernel

I'm with stock kernel.. I've been flashing Roms for awhile. I literally have formated the entire phone.. installed CWM again.. cleaned everything and installed the rom. I haven't change any settings regarding performance... This is the first rom I'm having problems charging with... It just takes forever!! and sometimes if i use it while charging the battery actually discharge instead.. I was hoping someone could help me with a fix cuz I really didnt want to change ROM. Even tho this is a nightly is one of the most stable ROM's I have ever used.

Fix or solution is:
Buy a new battery. I think this is your issue and not this rom. Here all OK. Battery charge normal.

Or your charging module in your device is bad.....

You are right abt this rom. It's the most stable and faster kitkat rom without any real bugs at daily use.
In your place i would install hawker's nuke (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2100558) and then reinstall the rom.
It should charge like any other rom.
maybe u can wipe battery stats but i believe in reinstalling the rom

cheers mate. Will try that.. I always wipe battery stats when i install a new Version/Rom.. guess it must be a buggy script somewhere within the phone that is causing that... Should I install CWM again after using this wipe script?

no.
but after installing the nuke u may not find the rom.zip on your internal card. if it happens go to advance and reboot into recovery then flash the rom

Camera / USB problems

Hi,

I have got still same issues in all versions of KitKat roms. At the first I did all necessary steps before installing KK rom including wiping and KK CWM. But there is not still option for camera to save content into external SD card (I want to have it included i dont wanna use external tools like Xposed) next bug but more anoying one is when I connect my phone via USB in windows no USB device is connected I mean I dont see my internel or external card. Anyway great progress almost everything is working correctly. Just Camera to SD and USB mass storage are not working correctly for me. But there is a reason to call these builds "Nightly" :D :cowboy:

Best stable and customizable 4.4 ROM. :good:
There's one problem that I came across. I hope you know that there's a separate storage for apps (2gb) and separate storage for other media files (11gb) in GT i9100. When I install an app to app storage (2gb), space in other storage (11gb) also gets reduced. Ultimately I get an error saying "insufficient space". Is this a bug/feature in kit-kat or in this rom? :(

the build without linaro isn't better.
if u want to know what is linaro go there:
http://www.linaro.org/linux-on-arm/

Hey. I was wondering the same thing. I can see Linaro is an open source developer community for ARM. However, what does this mean regards to this ROM?

I have installed the Linaro Version. How, specifically, does this differ from the 'Unnoficial' version of Pound listed in the download links?

I'm guessing the kernel is tweaked for power management with the ARM CPU and thats about it, but this is just a wild guess!!

cheers.

insufficien space has nothing to do with the rom and it isn't a bug. it's because of too small ram on sgs2.
the solution is to repartition the internal card and to enlarge the internal memory.
go to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2538947 and chose the pit file size as suits u best.

Does anyone know If I can invert the colours in the contacts and messaging Apps?? The black on white is a bit to bright, and must drain battery more than white on black writing...

I'm still having problems after a full wipe on the latest build. I'm still on most occasions getting the 'SD removed unexpectedly' notification after I wake my phone up by pressing the home button and it sends the media scanner into a constant scan and stops showing my external SD pics in the Gallery... This is getting really tedious now, please can someone give me a solution to this extremely irritating issue I'm constantly facing? :banghead:

Granted it was not with this rom. But with an ICS custom ROM I had the same and similar issues with internal and external SD mounts not recognising properly. The only solution I found was flashing back to completely stock, stock kernel, stock ROM, no root access. Everything worked perfect.

I then used the Philz kernel, to get root access on stock rom. Everything still worked perfect but now with Root.

I then went to CWM recovery, flashed newest version of Recovery (ready for kitkat), then did a full wipe install of the linaro latest version of this ROM. Everything worked faultlessly.

So. I would suggest going back to stock, get it all working again, then do a full wipe install. SD card issues seem a real pain in the A with the S2...

    POUND ROM

    Hi to all:

First, all credits goes for lion0738, developer of Pound Rom.
I'm only posting here because i find this rom by casualty in SourceForge and is excellent!
i'm not a developer, i'm only sharing this valuable information because i didn't find here.

Pound ROM is a Korean Rom, but with many languages available. I'm using it in spanish.

-> Need to flash this ROM with a cm10.2 or newer kernel for best results.
-> Is recommended to wipe all (data - system - cache) before flash
(only dirty flash this rom if you coming from older nightly).
-> If you have much valuable apps and data DO CWM BACKUP after flash anything.
-> Before install this ROM you could restore your apps and app's data with Nandroid Manager or similar program.

    ROM Specs and hightlights:
    • Cyanogenmod 11 (4.4.2 KOT49H)
    • Aroma Installer (user can remove apps, home and mods prior installing)
    • Gapps included
    • Very stable
    • own kernel with stweaks (Cpu control/Voltage/BLN/Sound tweaks)
    • BLN
    • AOKP custom system animations
    • r3p2-01rel3 patch included
    • appbar
    • recent ram bar (since 201311220)
    • multitask menu
    • normal and linaro version (you choose)
    • odexed framework and apps (since 20131124 build)
    • and most important... all works.

    Link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/poundrom/
    Files: http://sourceforge.net/projects/poundrom/files/cm11.0/

    Latest build: http://sourceforge.net/projects/poundrom/files/latest/download

Consider this ROM as weekly build, and please, don't ask for ETA. Thanks.

If you get metadata_recursive error, flash first this kernel:
    http://www.mediafire.com/download/ka8qv3l5x9vu49h/kernel-cm-10.2-20131112-i9100-signed.zip
and then reboot recovery and flash the ROM

Thanks, I have found xda thread and will switch to omni.... I'm so angry that this rom here is dead and that the Dev is going without any information for more than 3000 users.
If I had know that this project are dead, never I had take so many time to make it for my working rom.

    Good by........

    I9100 Tapatalk 4, Rom1 Pound Rom 4.4 Kitkat

I haven't changed device yet, and this rom is weekly build, not daily build.
