If your rooted and have a custom recovery the ota update will not flash. If you're on the stock rom and have only rooted it without flashing the custom recovery then it should flash with the stock recovery. All i know is that you can reroot after installing this new update. Beyond that im not sure of any negative effects other than itson Spyware and the bootstrap which usually isnt good. Im holding b off on the update untill i know more about it.
Just checked Netflix, no problems. I babe adaway installed too. When do you get the error so I can try to replicate it?I've got a gear VR coming so the update would be nice so I can stay on the rom Another question, anyone have any issues with Netflix. I keep getting a -9 error and have tried everything I can think of, wiping caches, uninstalling/reinstalling, ensuring no ad blocker etc. Didn't have this issue on stock/stock rooted?
Let's not forget that the NK update also improves battery life and reduces lagI don't see the need for them to update, considering in like 2 months 5.0 will be released.Unless it fixes something

Not sure what the issue is. I'm running perfectly fine with Netflix. Adaway installed and running, wanam installed and running too. Did you restore data from a backup maybe? Have you tried uninstalling, rebooting too recovery, wiping both cache then reinstalling? Maybe something is lingering after removal.
