I cud only c ftf starting with st18i-xxxxxxxxxxx.ftf

That's the pain I went through when trying to upgrade my phone when I was on stock. I think the ONE ST18a ftf I got (and posted the link to above) I *think* I got it through the standard Sony upgrades or that "wonton" server; not sure, but I got it!

With the links I gave above, its a free upload server I just came accross, so am not sure how long itwill stayup there for, soi grab it while you can. \And I would suggest anyone with an ST18a also grab the full FTF as you never know when you will need it

I checked which parts are used when I select only the baseband to flash, and created a new ftf, but have NO idea if it would work. Zipped up, this file is 10.3MB I uploaded this Frankenstein ftf of mine as a zip file, which you can download at: http://www.filedropper.com/st18a41b0587sonybasebandonly

yes it does.
for dual panel wait for new build ...check 4.3 old beanstalk builds from our dev thread if u want full featured beanstalk xperience...even multiwindow/floating window feature is available :x

problem on reboot

perfectly installed the ROM. super fast and smooth.
got a problem though, when i try to reboot. it gets stuck on the beanstalk loading screen. EVERYTIME.



nevermind.... i tried wiping the dalvik cache then viola it worked. i dont know why and how but it worked. thanks for the awesome ROM.

Well, I got what i paid for...

Anyway, i made a fake account in 4shared, and uploaded the baseband file, although I couldn't download the file myself without going into my 4shared account...

EDIT: Actually I tested the other link to Filedropper, and i managed to download the file. However, it was weird in that as I was downloading the file (in Chrome on Win7), in the downloads page showed the file getting bigger and bigger as the download was happening. Never seen that before, but it managed to download the file OK. As for the 4Shared file, if you also have problems, login or create a dummy 4shared account and it should be work. If not, send me a PM and I will send you the password to my dummy account and you can dowload it directly.

I'll try wen I get home.I'm consistent user of 4shred/mediafire/dropbox,as they provide resumes.thanks for the effort.

I have added a new 64GB SD Card and created a 47GB Ext4 partition, which I ahave mounted with

busybox  mount -t ext4 -o rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 /storage/usbdisk/sdext3

It all seems good, but I then get "stalls" where the UI appears to hang and be totally non responsive. When It happens, I also get a new trace fil;e in /data/anr I have attached the log. Hoping it will help the dev. which will of course help me

If it happens when the screen is locked, I can not unlock the phone

In about phone it shows up as BeanStalk-4.4006-20131129-urishi

Make a clean install.
Read op nicely.
(If u r here from newest build cm11by mike... Format each partition before flashing this)

Haven't had a chance to test everything yet, but this is what I've found so far.

1. I can't seem to switch off that irritating, gimmicky 'Halo' app. I hate it.

2. Browser very laggy and prone to crashing.

3. What's the deal with the 'priv-app' folder in Gapps? It's just made stuff like Google Play impossible to uninstall & replace - for example,Titanium backup says 'Can't find apk' (or something similar - very annoying) I have my own version of Google Play I always use.. grr.

4. Themes don't apply properly in the (already quite sucky) dialer app.

5. Using Titanium backup, I couldn't restore my sms messages and bookmarks that I'd backed-up from my previous ROM.

On the plus side, there seemed to be a large amount of free internal memory, which is brilliant. Unfortunately, I can't live with the other stuff so I'm going back to my previous ROM for now.

- Is BeanStalk-4.4006-20131129-urushi.zip available in 2nd post the latest build yet?
- Is it still better to flash dark kernel?
- Is dark kernel latest build 11DarkUrushi20131211.img still compatible?
- Is BeanStalk gonna have future builds? It looks great yet, but as it's for my girlfriend phone's, i don't want to mess around!

It will surely have..as long as officialysonyrebel is here.new build is on the board with more fearures,bt yet to roll out lol .
If its for her i'd say u stick with 4.3jb,as 4.4kk is in very alpha stage.we have issues with some basic things too.

I tried this kernel, and lost my ability to connect my phone via usb under mass storage mode. Even after I flashed back the original kernel i could not get mass storage mode to work. Has anyone else noticed this? I did like the extra overclocking...

This is where I get confused, some of the links in either this thread or the dev thread go to the CM11 RAY build instead of the Beanstalk specific build.

If its for her i'd say u stick with 4.3jb,as 4.4kk is in very alpha stage.

I actually went back to 4.3 from 4.4 as there was too much missing from 4.4 that was in 4.3, and too many apps which I used daily, that did not behave under 4.4.

That was rom specific bug,i guess.im ryt now in mike's cm11 latest build with dark krnl,no issues with mass storge.

Wat do u mean xaktly by 'links'? We hich links hmmm?
