I don't know what @XpLoDWilD is planning to do, but @Entropy512 said that Exynos4 devices almost certainly won't be updated to 5.0 on G+.
The same was said about cm10.1. Even though devices like galaxy s2, note 2 and note 10.1 are exynos 4 devices, they got cm11 as well. (Nightlies only) I'm pretty sure we would get Nightlies of cm12 as well.
I don't know if this is legit or not but I just said what I read on android central.
Regards,
Ishaan

LOLLIPOP for the Note

It exists. To all those wondering whether Note will get Lollipop, I'm pretty sure it will, cuz there's already an unofficial pre-alpha Lollipop build for n7000 by bauner [EDIT: As pointed out by @aelmahmoudy below, this is a CM12 pre-alpha, just in case you're hoping for Omni]
Look here:

NOTE: I would not recommend flashing this, I did because I now have a newer device and only use my note for experimenting.

Erm, that is a CM build, not OMNI.
Never said it was, just saying that it CAN be done (and HAS been)
Our Galaxy Note GT-N7000 CAN handle the sweetness of Lollipop. LOL.
(Of course, the bugs MAY prove to be too much to handle, and devs MAY give up on getting it working perfectly, but I'm thinking positive here :fingers-crossed: :good:)

Hopefully this will shhh the majority of the people that keep on asking about Lollipop updates for the note.
In the following g+ post || comments, xplodwild stated he was and hopefully continues to be trying to get things running on the note. If there is anyone capable to build it for our beloved note, this is the guy. Please show your support by NOT asking for eta's.
Just know that the best of xdas developers are trying to build things in the free time that they sacrifice in doing so.

Moving (sellected) Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Stock Apps to Omni ROM KitKat

Hi Guys,

Can you please advise as to how can I move a few selected Samsung Note Apps such as;
S Pen, S Note, Screen Mode(Natural,Movie etc.) and Samsung keyboard, that I want to keep to a custom Omni ROM KitKat?

Would you think it will work if I would use the App "ROM Toolbox Pro" going to App manager> Backup App+Data and selecting the Samsung Apps to back them on external SD card and then Restoring them to the NEW ROM?

Any advise highly appreciated.
Thanks

Hmm, try installing OS Monitor (https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdid=com.eolwral.osmonitor) and see what process is hogging the device.
