Many many thanks. I was waiting to find a good custom ROM to "fill" :) my N5 and now I find it :)

Now I am out. When I am home tonite I'll flash it. As ART is so experimental, for the moment, I think to flash PA Gapps with it and to stay with our old but good Davilk.

Any problem ab that (PA gapps I mean)?

Again many many thnks

#1 rule: If you use a custom kernel, then bugs are invalid. :)

Don't tell me to chill down for reporting usage issues in the rom.
This is generally considered helpful when the "reportee" actually knows what he's talking about and even provides reasoning behind (albeit obvious for these fixes) the reported actions taking place.

And no, I won't be submitting fixes as I don't plan on using Omni and so far all of the issues and ideas that were supposed to be fixed in this rom as per the Big Android BBQ talk have been ignored.
Patches merged without two people verifying (literally instantly after upload sometimes)...
No "improvements" sent to other roms after Omni merges their patches...
Multi-window and all other "WIP" features have been at a stand-still for weeks...

No, I don't care to run, help, or support Omni at this time.
    Wut?
And I see that I supposedly copy repos from other Roms?
    Wut?
And I was just reporting and now I'm getting bum-rushed by everyone, so with that...
    Goodbye =]
    Enjoy incoherently mumbling.
Not the wrong thread when it's a reply, no.

Thanks for the troll, I had a good time waking up this morning. Rome wasn't made in a day, so is Omni. Everything that was discussed at the Big Android BBQ is in our plans and roadmaps, and we are working on it. We're not 100 full-time developers, and actually writing original code and enhancements (as opposed to just take code from others ;) ) takes obviously more time. Kitkat arrived, and other things had to get updated at a higher priority.
Patches that involves all devices are reviewed with 2 people, or at least one from another unrelated device (e.g. if a patch was tested on a Qualcomm phone, we'll wait until it has been tested on an Exynos tablet or phone). Patches that are device-specific cannot all the time being tested by multiple people - if nobody else than the device maintainer has a jflte and he submits a patch for it, we can't let it wait on gerrit for months waiting on someone with a jflte and capable of building to test it. As long as the patch builds, in this case, we can only trust it. Waiting infinitely would just slow down the whole port worthlessly.
Original authors of a patch that are subscribed on our Gerrit get a notification when someone of us uploads a patch. They can then check what we did to it. So far, we didn't have time to handle huge patches like Pie controls or such, but these are particular cases where we'll email the author directly.
Multi-window is still worked on, even if there's no progress recently because Kitkat arrived. I'm working on many enhancements at once as well as device ports, and I have to put priority on tasks considering my limited time. Multi-window will be finished, just be patient.

Your original post sounded actually rude, but had valid arguments that will be fixed quickly.

Instead of complaining, you should help us moving forward. But as you don't plan on running, helping, or supporting Omni at this time, then you have nothing to do in this thread either. Go troll somewhere else.

End of the off-topic, we have dedicated OmniROM forums on XDA if you want to discuss about general stuff.

Are we gonna get some builds on the n7(flo) anytime soon? There is a thread by devswift(so!ethimg) that hasn't been updated for weeks. I think I know the answer. "All things in time, dont ask for an eta". Just looking g for you throw me a bone here lol. This thing is shaping up to be special. Just want to enjoy the ride.

I was waiting on the OTA to arrive to make sure we wouldn't run into problems due to outdated files. I'll likely clean this this evening and get builds out for flo and manta.

Are all feature additions visible in Gerrit or do you bypass Gerrit sometimes.

    Everything is on Gerrit.

Just flashed 20131113 nightly... Sorry for being late :p
I only wiped cache and dalvik cache + SuperSU + Franco kernel. No missing app at all.

After recording a video I have FCs of UI System so I have to reboot to close this pop up.

This has been fixed in today's nightly. If you want to get around this, first take a normal screenshot, then do a video recording. It was due to the Screenshots folder not being created.
