Hi mithun,

would it be possible to cherrypick the feature: multi-window?

About how much work would it take to add that feature?

I would really like to try that feature out as it is one of the most useful feature for latest big screen high resolution devices...

I'm currently running and updating every nightly and don't seem to be having any major bugs that I know of, keep up the good work!

Thanks!

Where can I find the Gapps for this ROM?
Any gapps pack for 4.4+ from any forum should work, unless its been modified for whatever reason.

Anyway the latest nighlie has some extra features, but HOOOORRIBLE screen tearing issues. Disabling hardware overlays in settings helps slightly. Also, the torch in the quick settings pulldown doesn't work, and there is no app for it in the app drawer. Aaaannd... there is nowhere to enable root. Usually you enable it in developer options, but its not there, and my apps cannot gain root access. Downloading supersu doesn't work either. Other than those issues its looking good on the progress side of things. Hopefully tomorrows build fixes the problems..

yeah! it still same issue
Confirm video recording does not work.

Another major bug I've noticed about a week ago and its still present (sorry if its already known): there are clocs on top bar and nav buttons on the bottom on lockscreen. Also no options to launch camera from lockscreen. Its icon is covered by nav buttons. Pulling the notification tab and removing it removes buttons and clock, but camera and slider "^" sign still do not appear.

Weird! I had a very similar issue. Whenever my alarm clock goes off in the morning, and I unlock my phone, I will have the camera and "^" icons present while the phone is unlocked, and have no nav buttons. I have to lock, then re-unlock to get the nav buttons back. But the screen tearing was too much for me. I popped back over to cm11 for now..

Just download the zip for your device from dl.omnirom.org, open it and there you'll find boot.img. You may flash it separately first to get a proper recovery that is supported and then flash the whole ROM from that recovery. Dont forget to put ROM on SD.

Greetings friends of the Forum. I installed and uninstalled many roms, now appeared a bug that I do not know if it is caused for had made many installed Roms customs. with all the customs ROMs every often and with a simple tasks like opening an app the Xperia ZL crash about 2 or 3 minutes and then reboot. So my question is how to make a Super Wipe from Recovery? I mean clean the whole phone (Except MicroSD) so deleted safely all the data in the internal memory and phone for then I can Installs a rom Stock (*. tft). Right now I already Flashed Stock Rom, through Flashtool, the last versión (.569) and I am testing it to see if the bug is fixed and see if the failure appeared only with the customs roms. I want to make you know that I have used Custom roms Stable and nightlys and both versions crashed and rebooted.

It's possible that ur internal storage got corrupted... Anyway make sure you always wipe data in recovery when changing roms... I keep switching omni and cm11 nightlies and no such crash on the latest builds.. In fact they work better than stock except for Camera..

To answer your question make a backup of ur internal storage and keep the required flashable zips of roms on ur external SD card(sdcard1)... When in recovery goto mounts and storage and format all options other than sdcard1...DO NOT REBOOT AFTER THAT... Go to install zip.. Install ur rom from sdcard1 and then reboot

Oh n please post queries in the correct threads

Good advice.

Question for ya!
You say you switch between omni and cm nightlies. I myself do the same. But I had to leave omni because of the horrendous screen tearing issue. Have they stopped happening in recent builds? Were they happening to you at all?

I did experience screen tearing a while back.. I thought it was probably because of the modified cm kernel I flashed over it.... Anyway the latest builds don't have the tearing.... The camera seems to be the only issue...

Ps.. Have u tried the latest cm nightly? :p ... Pretty amazing graphics performance and battery.. with nearly all issues ironed out(as far as I can see)

Running the latest nightlie right now. Looks like the next release will have quite a few updates according to cmxlog. And ya latest builds have been stellar on battery. Omni for me wasn't nearly as good, even using the same kernel from allspark. But this last cm build has been great.
