I have been working on updating omnirom android 5.0 to run on yuga

I wouldn't be so sure on that - You have abandoned both of these (little) changes which don't even have much to so with the bringup.
Actually I have been working on the L bringup (spent the whole weekend on reworking the kernel and the blobs). However, although I have pushed so many changes, I don't want to post links here. What's the point of teasing people when the bringup isn't finished? :p

I would not be so sure on that too - most of the work was done by @varun.chitre15 and contributed cyanogenmod github
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/owner:"varun.chitre15"+status:merged,n,z
the reason why I abandoned those changed it was because of you already merged a cyanogenmod changes ;)

anyway I spent my time building and reporting the errors to omni team ;) I haved out in 4.4 back in days ;) so pretty much I know what Im doing ;) unlike afew people around here. :p

@Olivier
Hey...
Thanks for all the hard work..!!

So can anyone test and tell me if the sound shuttering problem has been fixed?
Not as far as I can tell :(
I connected to my sony car stereo through bluetooth, playing with vlc and it stutter almost every 2 minutes or so.
I'm gonna test with other players and connections and report back later...
Cheers
james

Update,
No stutter with Google Music or Apollo,
Updating to 20141125 and see what happens

Update 2,
With 20141125, far fewer stutter with VLC, great improvement.
Don't know what to look for to cause stutter, but If I open a browser, the player hiccups real bad, almost like a single cpu with 64Mb memory! Maybe the player(s) don't have mem/cpu priority over other processes?
I'll test more, maybe with different kernel

What builds did you test? The official nightlies or my homemade one with the new kernel and blobs?

Thanks for the link to the changelogs

What builds did you test? The official nightlies or my homemade one with the new kernel and blobs?
All from nightlies official - sorry, got confused as they have the same name!
The others form official nightlies
Firstly on the 20151115 - stutter regular, like every minute or so.
I'm now on 20141125 - which only stutters (real bad) when I open another app like the browser with any player. in normal use ( i use it via bluetooth to my car player) is fine with Google play Music and Apollo, but sometimes stutters with VLC (my preferred choice).
Hope this helps, happy to test etc.
Will check with "homemade" rom
Cheers
James

How the ota app work, update will come on small MB or in full size?..

I don't have any definite confirmation with that but from whatever I know it will come in full update until it gets tested and fully implemented in source code...

FYI, when it will be fully working , it will come in maximum of 20MB update so no more 200mb downloads, just stay tuned until it get fully implemented ....

    ;)
