I've been wondering the same.
I don't use the tab a lot but it last me 2-4days with stock kernel. Battery life is very subjective to personal usage. Test and decide on your own. Mine stays at home so I can't care less about battery life.

Nope.. Navbar menu key doesn't work on any launcher except GEL. I tried Nova, Apex, solo. It works everywhere else. But I have decided to stick to slimkat. I love it on my Hammerhead...

I have not tried Infected CM. But I am sure slim is better. You can try both and stick to what you like..

Does anyone know the stock DPI? Loving Slim on my Gpad but the DPI is a little low for my liking.

I have mine set at 280 and it works well. Try that. Don't know the stock DPI though.

Quick search brought me to mahdi thread where somebody wrote that stock DPI is 320, so the same as Maguro, which I set to 300 DPI. I may be mixing things up because yesterday I was updating SlimKat from 4.2 to 4.4 weekly on three devices and now I start to wonder which one has which stock DPI

Thanks guys. My current DPI was set to 280 but it still felt a little small. I'll try the 300-320 range.
I'm also running Slim on my G2 couldn't be happier. I was a flashaholic for a while but once I got a taste of the real dark slim I haven't looked back.

Stock DPI is 320. Taken from V50020B build.prop:

LGs dpi for the gpad is 273,

Last build 4.4 is really slim I have one problem that the screen sometimes dimmed after wake until relock and unlock..
