I'm eagerly waiting for reports.

Since Galaxy Nexus I'm conditioning purchase of every new device on Slim ROM availability so I'm going Nexus way.
LG G Pad 8.3 looks like a great device and I'm very tempted to get one even though I don't really need a tablet.
I'm doing my research which one to get, the V500 or GPE. I'm leaning towards GPE as my experience is nexus only, but I wander why there are no ROMs yet for GPE. I thought this tablet development will explode after it appeared as GPE.

hi

having the same black screen issue, but i'm having haptic feedback, when volume down it vibrates and when i press power for a while, it seems that the power menu apears, have that feeling :), could GPU drivers problem?
how to get logcat through ADB?

kind regards
jorge

UPDATE: i have snappea installed on mine PC and it shows the tablet screen, and i get the initial configuration, but the tablet keeps black, so i confirm, it's GPU drivers, i guess

Thanks for the feed back! That was my suspicion with the initial build

Great news! Can anyone confirm if XBMC works on this build? And, if so, which version of XBMC was tested? Thank you.
I have no idea what xbmc is. Btw I flashed bionic and moto dalvik from the get go (read when I initially installed slimkat) as I was not sure if they were included in the ROM. I didn't play around with it much and I ran so so optimized run of quadrant. It ran about 500 points better than a completely optimized stock ROM. Not bad but I noticed that the io was lower than stock by about 2000 points. Trimmed it and ran it again but same result. So there is something holding IO performance down. (Please do not start an argument about the usefulness of benchmarks/quadrant. As you can see I didn't post any scores.)

Haven't had a chance to play with it all day and probably won't happened anytime soon either.

What you don't know can limit your enjoyment of a media consumption device.
Or maybe you just use yours to play Pong (noted for its efficient I/O).

Cheers.

Ye I ran quadrant straight after flashing the rom.
I did a before and after test of the bionic and the moto dalvik, for my own interest, and the boost in score is around the 50 % mark.
The rom itself is lovely. I'm really enjoying using it, so thank you very much for keeping at it and bringing this to us :)
I've not found any issues to report ;)
All the best Rich.

Auto brightness works for me.

GPS is down though, anyone else? GPS test shows it is talking to the hardware but sees no satellites.

I tried a couple of gps apps but whilst it says gps is on I couldn't get them to find any satellites.
