After 2 reboots date and time sticks for me.
Settings->date&time->GMT+2:00 & 24h format enabled + Automatic time zone enabled->reboot
After reboot i had the complain for the first time. I set up again the correct time zone to my country zone and after second reboot problem was fixed.
That didn't work for me... :(

If all goes as planned, yes it will

I don't have a problem with the date at all but as someone mentioned rotate stops working before I rebooted. If it happens again I will report. Also I had problem with waking the device when the rotation broke. I don't know if it is related. I left the tablet last night and everything was OK. This morning I press the power button and nothing happened. So I thought the battery drained. Plug it in and walked away. When to check on it in an hour or so and pressing power button still nothing. Long pressed the button and the power menu came up. So the battery didn't die. I could reproduce this over and over again. Dt2w stopped working too. Restarted and everything is kosher. Did anyone else have similar experience.

Reboot seems to have helped my rotation sticking. Never had the time/date issue either. Already downloaded the slim wallpaper app too. All is good here!

Unfortunately I didn't have as good of luck as you, however-

I remembered others having a similar issue on the LG G2 and seeing this thread, so I grabbed the 2.2 APK from there and used "Install offset and initscript". Then I rebooted and still had the issue. So in my last attempt I installed Init.d Toggler from the Play Store, toggled init.d on (I guess maybe SlimKat doesn't have it enabled by default?), then ran the Clock Fixer initscript again, then rebooted, and everything seems to be sticking with no errors.

So it seems to be working well like that for now, but I'll report back any recurring issues. Is there any way that could be baked into the ROM though? That would be extra helpful.

Anyways, thanks for the great SlimKat build. Loving it!

I was able to reproduce the screen wake up issue. And just checked it doesn't want to rotate. Is anyone else able to reproduce it? I am running completely out of the box with full slim gapps. It looks like a result of long inactivity.

Sorry man rotation works just fine here and i didn’t encounter any wake up screen bug.
I had to reinstall the ROM so it happened on the first boot again. Let me see if it happens again. BTW, are you on the stock kernel? Is OC/UV yet available for our device?

I got a SOD today- possibly related to the screen wakeup issue. Tried to grab a log but I'd never done it before, and it didn't have any info from before the reboot.

EDIT: Yep, wasn't an SOD, just took the screen forever to finally wake. Easily a good 5 seconds.

Small update on the screen wake issue. I was wrong that I have to hold power button till the restart menu pop up. It was just a delay. Both power button and double tap work. Like fireworks said, it just takes 8-10 for the screen to wake up. I can upload a video of it if you long me to. @Demetris, bud, sorry if I come across a bit annoying talking about the screen wakeup issue, but I am trying to hammer out the reason/fix it. It's clearly ROM related. I have done nothing to the ROM except switching to Art. It is definitely not user error. When I start messing with the ROM then I would take full responsibility for my acts (nandroid is my best friend:D). I really like this ROM and it's the only one that gives me smooth performance almost comparable to N4. So please bear with me.

Here is a logcat https://www.dropbox.com/s/9m9hi1xctnr4aqf/2014-03-23-10-51-09.txt
Dmesg https://www.dropbox.com/s/ke43auae402b97e/dmesg.txt
And here is a logcat with the wakeup working fine after a reboot https://www.dropbox.com/s/ks2lqe1wizy1yvw/2014-03-23-11-27-44.txt

Edit: Even though everything indicated that the issue is kernel related, switching to dyn kernel r4 didn't help much. Now it only takes 3-5sec to wake the screen. And I lost double tap functionality I the process.

No problems here since the reboot. Rotation now fine, and never had the wake up problem either. Can we update the kernel you mentioned?
