Hey walter79,

How do you dump software from Defy? My father bought Defy+ via local retail and it seems to be first CEE 2.3 Moto software, also with full Motoblur. I know some of guys are already translating strings.xml files into some languages (Polish included) but it seems pointless now as the work seems to be already done by Motorola :)

If I root, install 2nd-init/recovery and do full nandroid backup, can I do a system restore after flashing fixed SBF to install it on my own Defy?

Please upload nandroid backup if you can, it would be nice to test first polish rom to Defy+. What rom version this Defy has??

Go to "Recovery"
Go to "Latest Recovery"
Go to "Backup and Restore"
Go to "Restore" (system+data)
Select "4.5.3-134_DFP-132..." and confirm
Go to "Backup and Restore"
Select "Advance Restore"
Select "4.5.3-134_DFP-132r..." and confirm
Select "boot" and confirm
Go to "Backup and Restore"

reboot.
optional if you have green lens defy install greenbreadmod
And I followed this instructions. So I cannot downgrade any more?
It is not so tragic because everything runs fine, but for future updates it would be good to know...
