Well with HTC phones you want to go to a sense rom and get a lock then restore back to aosp rom. But GPS still isn't as good. 3rd party will probably have same issues.

Mr. Flyhalf..do you know if we have ExFAT support for MicroSD cards on this ROM?

I have a class 10 - 16gb as well as a class 10 - 128gb and I haven't had any issues with it being read or written to since maybe the 2-3rd week that cm12 was released and was also still in super beta at that time. Hopefully that helps you with your decision.

Oh, meant to mention- this ROM is getting all peppy and quick and stuff- that HUGE change list on the last update is having very nice effects here!

Yeah it is. I'm also made some kernel adjustments. I got about 6 of those BSOD where the phone screen stays black and buttons light up.

Noticeable SIGNIFICANT improvement since 0308!!

I can't believe I'm gonna say it, but I have to. No BSOD for me since 0308.

Thanks, Flyhalf205
Bet you never thought you'd say that. Cm12 is looking really good these days. Just need to get camera more stable.

I downloaded the latest update (last night) but am getting a failure when trying to load off the SD.
"could not detect filesystem for /dev/block/plat..
mount: failed to mount /dev/block/platform/msm_...
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/externa..."

Something I'm doing wrong? I've already done a wipe via TWRP including cache/dalvik.

What about the previous nightly?

What did you load and do to get blinkfeed running?

There is a ported blinkfeed that can install on any android devise check out it on xda here

Thanks!! I've DL'd the GREAT work by @xpirt. I'm using Nova as my primary launcher, but set up the app "Home Launcher" as a quick gesture from Nova to launch the "Sense Home", which is made up of 1 home screen for BlinkFeed. When I got the home button, I return to Nova. SHA-WEET!!

I've got BlinkFeed and Nova on CM12 and LOVIN' my new HTC One Max!!!

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.0 (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>

    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
     *
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

    Instructions

    First time flashing CyanogenMod 12.0 your device?
    Coming from a SENSE ROM?
    1. Enable all location services: Settings > Location > (all location services) = On
    Coming from another ROM?
    1. Download the zip(s).
    2. Install a compatible Recovery
    3. Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
    4. Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
    5. Flash CyanogenMod.
    6. Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.

    What works:
    Data/calls
    SMS/MMS
    Camera
    WiFi
    Bluetooth
    GPS(Get a lock on Sense first)
    LEDs
    Speakers
    Torch

    Doesn't work:
    Wi-Fi signal isn't as strong as Sense rom but has become more stable than early builds
    GPS you will need to get a lock on Sense first
