And, I don't know if this was a past problem but it would appear I am able to put most of my apps onto my SD card; whereas, before I could only put so many.
Are you able to move from the usual Settings -> App or is there a different process for it? Also, did you try moving Facebook/WhatsApp?

I can confirm that 12.1 build 3/31 works well in the Indian dual SIM also with SIM1 ;) I got 3G + SMS working. The only trick is - after a full wipe - flash the Cm only (do not flash gapps) - the mobile settings will crash first time. Next time change the data to 3G and reboot - now mobile settings will also work. Then flash gapps... for me that worked like a charm :)

The only thing still does not work for me is calls on speakerphone (other side can't hear me if the phone is even 1 ft away).

Is it working with tow SIMS and what's about calling with second sim?

I have the Virgin Mobile version of the phone which I believe is single sim. On the official CM, I was able to put apps onto my SD card but it seemed like not that many apps would move onto it for some reason. This time, I changed my install preference to the SD card before restoring my app backup with Titanium and most of my apps are now on my SD card. There are certain apps though that are required to be on the internal memory in order to fully work like, Lucky ? Patcher, Clean Master, and system apps etc.

Are you using another sms app? The default messaging app's send button is grey and doesn't work for me. It's been like this on all of the CM rom I think or at least for me. It's been like this for a while that's why I usually use Google messenger or Hangouts.

No - I use the default messaging app.. It works fine (both incoming + outgoing)

Oh wait! It's working for me now. Just tried it. The last time I tried was in the first version if this rom. Well that's good.

@Grarak do you think you can make a sense 7 lollipop rom for the desire 816 since it wont get updated to lollipop from virgin mobile. That would be awesome if you could.

So I discovered something magical today. I guess this has always been there before but I never knew the camera zooms in and out on its own, and rotates the orientation of the screen on its own. It was, interesting lol. Other than that, I just found out xposed framework will work on Lollipop ? now which is good.

Well, just discovered that since Android 5.1 is new, Xposed does not work. IT only works with SDK version 21 and lollipop 5.1 is SDK 22. Oh well. I think it would work with the official Cyanogenmod though.

Well, I went back to cm12, April 3rd nightly, and it still goes right to no data/exclamation in the status bar when I boot up. If I turn preferred network to 3g, it will go to 3g and then if I switch it back to lte, lte comes on and stays on until I reboot.

I dunno what happened. I'm using the VM APN fix like I always have, and it's always worked flawlessly.

Android 5.1 broke data even worse than 5.0 I think.

Either that or the APN fix (technically made for KitKat) doesn't support 5.1.

Yeah thats probably true. I don't get why it won't work when I go back to 5.0. I wonder if I'm not wiping something right. I never could get vibration working and I think someone said that was probably because of bad wiping.

I wipe + format /cache /data /system /boot /sdcard/media - I was able to go back and forth from 5.0 to 5.1.
One question I also have is - is it safe to format /firmware/radio ??

I've been using twrp 2.8.5

I wipe system, dalvik, cache, Data, Internal storage. I think that's it. I think that's everything except SD card.

If I'm not mistaken, kitkat did not support APN changing.
You are mistaken :p

Use CWM and also wipe /boot. TWRP can't wipe /boot and it can cause issues.

Has anyone else had a touchscreen issue on CM 12 and 12.1 on single SIM 816x? I keep havingthe touchscreen go bananas after the setup. Have to select things multiple times before it reacts. Drag and drop is hectic. Sometimes double and triple clicks things, pointer location shows a solid touch reading as zig zag motions. Is there a fix for this?
I flashed using both twrp and cwm. Full wipe, advanced full wipe (format system, boot, data, dalvik, cache) this happens with other Roms too. Wondering if this Asia single SIM x version is the issue. Works great on stock Rom unfortunately

I tried cmw, wiped /boot and reflashed 12.1. still couldn't get lte working at all.

I'm back on 12, I can live with it this way for now. It only stops working when I reboot, and its easy enough to mess with the settings to get it working again. eventually it will get fixed im sure. Vibrate still doesn't work either.

This is mine,it works. When I try to edit, don't know why yours is that way.
Go to 'Contacts' and fill in your profile there. This will populate the default user for you.

Furthermore there's a bug when you do this: where you save then edit, it adds a sort of new profile to the contact, shows null. Can't remember how to screenshot to show

If anyone can reproduce and file a proper bug report, I'm a bit too noob to know what to do to help.

Is it possible to update to the unofficial 12.1 without losing data from cm 12? Last time I wiped before flashing it.

Depends on case by case. I did it and had no phone signal.
Had to wipe everything and start over. (Took me 30 mins to get my phone back, Google and cm account restores work a treat :)
