I got the PA 4.6 BETA 1 installed, and I have a problem. I don't seem to find pretty much anything for Paranoid Android. No special settings that everyone talks about, and I'm so confused...

It's all baked in to make it look like it's part of stock android. For battery icons, it's in the battery settings etc.

Rather than creating more options in settings, PA chooses to integrated newly added options into already Android created settings options such as Display, Sound, etc.

What are you looking for?

For example, how do I change the DPI? And those fancier things?

For example, how do I activate HALO notifications? How do I activate Pie Settings? D: It's all hidden! Or so it seems. :p

Enter immersive mode for PIE, there is no HALO, there are no DPI options

I wonder what this is....

PS, Halo has never been in an official 4.x build... It's been dead for a long time

Man just flashed this ROM and like it so far but I'm disappointed in the lack of custom options. I can't re arrange the order of the on screen buttons and can't move the clock and change battery icon and or display battery %. I don't want to use xposed, so does anyone know how to so these things? I know on previous phones I've had there has been zips people created you can flash that adds those options, any idea if that exists?

I don't think you can move the clock or on screen buttons. Battery Icon can be changed, it's located in Settings>Battery in the top right corner.

This may not be the ROM for you if you're wanting a bunch of mods and hacks. There are several out there that have what you're looking for, but this is not one and it won't happen here either.

Could someone enlighten me on this : When using Hover, sometimes, when I click the notification, the app launches in overlay mode, sometimes it just launches itself the normal way.

Is it because Long pressing does something?

Thanks in advance :)

if you're in the launcher it should open as full screen (no point in multi-tasking) if you're in an app it should launch in overlay

Read carefully, that's not what he asked.

I also noticed it. But that 'bug' is present since forever. When an app is already open in the background in fullscreen mode, hover will just bring you to the app. When you are using a lot of apps and android will kill your background app then opening from hover will open in floating mode.

Edit: maybe we are both right and you did read carefully.

You can also blacklist any notification from opening in a floating window, no matter where you are when you click it.

After falling in love with PA on my Nexus 5, I'm glad its already available for the OPO. I was notified about winning an invite earlier today and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

As far as the actual rom itself, is the build stable on the OPO as it is on the Nexus 5 or will it still take some work?

Not only as stable as CM is, it includes all device specific features of CM like offscreen gestures, Quickboot, Soft/hard buttons...

Is it better to flash the 4.44 version or 4.45 ? I couldn't find the changelog on the Google plus page ? @SferaDev
Latest version is usually the best :)

By the way, I have an unofficial test with updated gestures.

    Changes:
    - Added CMs proximity sensor check
    - Updated Camera gesture (With the proximity sensor it won't take pocket pictures)
    - Lightbulb continues as it was previously.
    - Some other misc fixes

Those will be included in next weekly but you can test them today. See you!
