Recovery
Hello all,
Having a bit of an issue with my galaxy s4 i9505.
Messed up my phone trying encrypting it (cm12 encrypt facility didn't work so I had to revert to a previous back up). SD card encryption never completed so I still had all files, etc. Had to format the internal memory and managed to load on the backup ROM successfully.
CyanogenMod version: 12-20150420-OPTIMIZED-FINAL-jflte
Android version: 5.0.2
Baseband version: I9505XXUHOD7
Kernel version: 3.4.106-Alucard-PWR-CORE
antaresone@droidbuilder.ams.shellvatore.us #1
Everything is working as normal apart from the following:
-When I try to boot into recovery mode (either manually or via CWM ROM Manager v5.5.3.7), or backup my current ROM from ROM manager I get put to download mode with the following information in the top left:
"Could not do normal boot.
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9505
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
eMMC BURST MODE enabled
Downloading... Do not turn off target !!"
There is no way for me to access the recovery mode at all. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CWM ROM manager and updating the recovery but nothing works. Inside CWM ROM manager it tells me that I have CWM recovery and TWRP recovery installed.
My main aim is to make a backup of this current ROM now everything is back to normal and have access to the recovery mode if need be.
Thanks in advance guys,
Grant
