Don't bother. Its not needed. Please don't waste your time. I am debugging the root bootloop with help from Chainfire.

Also, I don't think it will work, since I think you need su to extract the recovery.img via adb and the only way to get su is to flash the su .zip via custom recovery, which in turn prevents the restore recovery script from overwriting the custom recovery. So what you will pull via adb will actually be the custom recovery .img.

I have great advice, what you can do is download lollipop stock firmware
And there should be a recovery.img in the root of the zip

In 4.4.4 i got the stock recovery from that method

CAN SOMEONE TRY IT.I THINK IT IS THE EASIEST WAY
But then again im not sure that there is a stock 5.0 firmware for our device

The recovery image from 63/64/68/69 is the same?

Someone has given the one from 68/69 to L already

I have the recovery from stock RETBR_XT1068_4.4.4_KXB21.85-24_cid12_CFC.xml.zip

can some one check MD5 sum to see if is the same...

my:

bootKXB21.85-24.img md5= 69f4dcc803137eb8408f5033da232d12

check against the 4.4.4 21.85-24 63/64 to see if is the some...

If is same no need to look further.

Even if MD5 is not the same I believe the recovery image is the same for all (but may have a different binary file, with only the model number and does not affect use, only affect md5), but not sure :D guessing here :silly:

:good:

Well...I just finished v1.0.2 and will begin uploading it now...first to MEGA...then AFH...and then Google drive. The update fixed a lot of "under-the-hood" bugs and adds a few nice features...The full and final changelog for v1.0.2 can be found on the OP post

NOTE: If you find any bugs in the latest build (v1.0.2) please report it in the issue-tracker tab (A.K.A. the bug report tab).

Talking about overheating. Today I used it for like 1 hour playing a game. It was quite hot. But the thing was that the top of my touch screen stopped working, I would say the status bar. I couldn't pull down notification bar down. I powered off the phone and let it cool down and after everything worked. But its a dangerous thing. Don't thing its a problem of the ROM, there must be something wrong with the phone. Anyone experienced this?

Actually before you start speculating about your phone having an issue...let me tell you NOTHING IS WRONG with your phone...it's a software issue...But i can't do anything about it....it's a bug with the Android 5.0.2 OS. Thousands of people have complained about the issue in the AOSP issue tracker. Google has said Android 5.0.3 will fix the issue...And the best part is as soon as Android 5.0.3's code is out this device will be running Android 5.0.3 ;)

    To the OP.

I see no one is saying it, so I will, and please do not take it in the wrong way because my intention it is just to give my opinion.

I just tried the 1.2 version, and I would like to give my take on it:
    - I personally don't care about the CM apps, so I just delete them from the ZIP file, no issues there.
    - On the changelog you mention different additions, which are not present: Clear All button on Recents (solved using Gravity Box), Theme Engine, AudioFX (which I delete because it never makes any difference and there is Audio Effects already), Dev-Tools, CM12 SIM Toolkit, PA Gapps support (which was the feature I was actually waiting for), SuperSU is not on the Settings Menu and not even the newest version.

The point being is this is happening with every release.
I know your work is free and on your free time (I sent a donation weeks ago, just in case), but it is necessary to pay more attention to details because a lot of people use your ROM (1000+), and even though it is up to the choice of every user to flash your ROM, as of now it is kinda the only option because of stability and RAM management unless it is Stock.

You have a lot going on, many ROMs to maintain, but none of them are coming up the way you promise they are going to be.
My recommendation, leave projects out, at least for the time being, or at least until Android 5.1 is released and we finally are able to use AOSP or CM12 based ROMs, only then it would make sense to try those, because again, only stock based ROMs are the only ones usable at the moment.

I'm not being ungrateful, actually because I care I write this.

    Thank you.

Thank you for writing this....I am not offended but actually thankful.....I completely understand your point and you are right.....I have too many ROM (for this device alone) and am also developing for other devices as we speak.....As a result I have purposed this idea:

    1) I will try me hardest to take care of the OP post...Making sure all details are correct
    2) Updates dates will be more orderly....Once a week (unless there is a MAJOR issue)
    3) Since I found the cause of the SUB1/SUB2 on XT1068/69 I can now make the ROM unified for all Moto G 2014 variants
    4) I am closing this thread and my XT1068/69 thread and am opening up a new UNIFIED thread
    5) I am going to take care of all the features I already promised before adding new features (PA support, clear all button, advanced reboot, etc)
    6) Since more that 5000 users use Titan Prime (XT1063/64 and XT1068/69 users combined) I will take care of this thread more (as in reporting unnecessary posts)
    7) I will listen to user complaints/suggestions much more
    8) THIS ROM WILL BE MY MAIN PRIORITY UNTIL CM 12.1 RELEASES

Again @SirRhor thanks you for pointing this out for me.... :)
