Does anyone have low call volume? Even with it all the way up its hard to hear anything

Or is there a fix for it?

I noticed this as well, it is hit or miss. I have noticed I have to either put mute on or run into another room. I'm updating to the newest build today to see if it helps., if not I'll be having to go back to Kitkat 3.1. I have been trying to use this as my daily driver although its in beta but the sound thing is the only thing keeping me from staying on this ROM and sending reports.

I believe the low call volume exists in kitkat as well. You have to use volume down first then volume up to increase the sound.
The fix in the link I provided has been known to work on kitkat and Lollipop. Make sure you read the info and backup before you flash the zip.

Thanks I'll give that a shot as I really enjoy the updated ROM and trying to help where I can even if it is just on the user level right now.

Is there a fix for the GPS not working? I've tried Cyanide L and LS and it doesn't work on either of them and I need it to work as I use it for my job.

Search on couple of forums, but there is flashable zip to fix GPS, and it works really good.

Rro theme engune

Just read some info about Liquidsmooth Lollipop:

"We have decided to remove the CM Theme engine and replace it with RRO all build after today will have RRO support along with the latest Overlay manager included."

Other Lollipop Roms are gonna be implementing this theme engine as well.

That looks quite nice. Looks like it will offer a lot of control over how we want to theme things as end users, instead of requiring extra knowledge to build a theme for cm. Now, just hoping LS releases an update soon, been over a week! Heh, so many lollipop roms and development happening, I have been flashing so often that it feels like forever.

I agree it seems more flexible.:) As far as being a flashaholic for lollipop I go from liquid smooth to Blisspop. Blisspop has nightlies so you may want check them out:

A little off topic but does anyone here own a Note 3? I was thinking of upgrading to one but from what I can tell besides a better camera there's not that much of an upgrade. From benchmarks my note 2 scores almost 32k on Antutu and note 3's are barely around 36k to me it didn't seem like much of an upgrade for only 11% more

Go straight to the Note 4. I own the 3 and at this point of time, may as well get the upgrade to the 4.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Been going back and forth trying to find the right combination of features and performance, and always seem to come up a little short somewhere.

Anyways, last I will say of it, I know its bad form to talk about other roms within a roms thread.

Well the problem is I'd have to buy the phone outright. I'm on a dealer line and they are not allowing me to do standard upgrades anymore. And I wanted a phone I can root still and it seems that you can't really do anything with the note 4 in that area. And it didn't seem worth $325 for a note 3 with little value over what I have now

Love this ROM so far this ROM and cyanide lollipop seem to be the best I like this one better only problem I have is that my xda app isn't working not sure if its a ROM issue or the app itself I have tried every lollipop ROM out there for my note 2 like I said this one is the best by far. Thank you for all your hard work on this ROM hope to have some updates soon I'm using shift kernel with this ROM which I find makes it even faster and smoother. I recommend this lollipop ROM for the note 2 100% the others are to buggy and to many problems I just reflashed this from cm12 that's buggy could only accept or make calls on speaker phone on that ROM.

The question I have isn't a complaint or anything but just wondering if face unlock can or will be ported over to this ROM?

Hey guys :).I downladed latest version for my Note II LTE (t0lte), file name is LS-LP-v4.0-2015-01-16-liquid_t0lte.zip ,wided only dalvik and cache (like i did when i updated from Slimkat 4.4.4 to UB 5.0.2),but this time when tried to flash i got "error executing updater binary".do i really have to wipe all,or is there any way to only upgrade like i did last time,as i said above?

Edit:I think i know what is wrong,my downloaded file is 229mb,and link http://www.drdevs.com/devs/teamliquid/Nightly/Note_2_t0lte/ shows size 240.5mb.downloading again :)

Edit 2:even while downloading it show size 229

Support on this thread is for LiquidSmooth ROM related issues only.

While we do not mind helping, its getting impossible to sort through issues that are ROM related or not. Persistent non-ROM related issues are best suited for the AT&T Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting Section.

Below is a few things I would appreciate you list when you are having issues so we have as much information as possible when trying to help you with your problems.

    • Is this a Clean flash
    • Is this the stock kernel
    • What firmware revision are you on
    • What gapps package are you using
    • Have you had this issue on other ROMs
    • Do you have any apps that change/modify system preferences (Xposed, etc)
    • Do you have any task killers installed
    • If you are having app issues, are they running off of internal memory or extSdCard

I just flashed this but can't find how to enable navigation bar. I see the height adjustment setting but can't enable it.

    cheers
