-Read Everything Carefully
-Download ROM, force-ss.zip (only for XT1033 devices converted to GPe) and GAPPS, and transfer it to your device.
-Boot Into Recovery.
-Perform A Full wipe (Data, System, Cache, Dalvik Cache)
-Flash ROM, force-ss.zip & GAPPS
-Have Fun!!

you should mention this in OP
NB : Force-ss.zip is not required for single sim devices. it can be only used on 1033 devices to make it recognize as a single sim device(2nd sim wont work)

Force SS. Zip needed and works only on GPE converted XT1033.. If we flash it in non GPE xt1033, bootloop will happen..

Yes, ambient display works, but I didn't make any modifications to the build to get it to work, so unfortunately I do not know what made it work.

RRO is a different implementation. You won't be able to use the cm themes. However, there are layers by different Devs in the play store. Just Google RRO layers and there's a whole XDA thread for it.
