There is no recovery? I flashed it first wia the recovery, but it says error as explained in few posts above. So I compiled it into a ftf bundle and flashed it, and it has booted with no recovery, am I missing something?

That's odd, I flashed it with TWRP, it was optimizing but I'm still on 5.0.2.

you zip does nothing you stay on the version you already are. glad i made a backup. please before uploading anything check that it works. in cwm it only took 2 seconds to flash (so basically nothing happened)

you can flash it via Flashtool and you will get stock 5.1.1 ROM and nothing else, if you do it via recovery it will finish in 2 sec and nothing will be installed, so it's not working for now

Try updating ur recovery to the latest version or flash with TWRP recovery..

This is odd. I'm using TWRP 2.8.7.0, also tried Philz 6.5.9.0, no success. I'm on Stock 5.0.2, rooted, bootloader unlocked. So not sure what I'm missing here.

I am from 5.0.2, unlocked boot loader and XZ-lockeddualrecovery2.8.21. Flashed the Op zip file and everything is fine - I got 5.1.1 (build 10.7.A.0.222). Great and Thanks!

How do I flash via flash tool? I get a bunch of .SIN files.,which aren't detected.
No .ttf which I assume I need to use in flash tool?

You must make a bundle out of it, just unpack the zip in folder and open Flash tool. After that click on Tools->Bundles->Create
Select your unpacked folder and click on every file that show at the bottom left and click on -> to chose it (chose all files like that).
After that double click on device field and chose your device (I assume sony xperia z and than version will follow up (C6603)), also Branding and Version fields must be filled up, you can type what ever you want here, and it will show up later in Firmware selector, and click create, w8 for what ever it takes to compile and you are done. Just select newly made firmware and flash it

I have tried it with newest TWRP, it flashes but nothing happens, then I tried to make a ftf file and flash it but that doesn't flash superSU and other stuff, could you please check once again your download?
Or try to upload it to MEGA or something other?

just wanna know which rom are you from ?

completely stock 5.0.2 or custom 5.0.2 like PureXZ & eXistenZ etc ?

I see some stuff is missing, do I need it? I can still flash on a locked bootloader xperia z C6606, running 4.4.2 C6603 version right?

Also the one I created has no option to wipe/format in APPS_LOG and USERDATA
Also no option to exclude cache, does this auto-format cache?
