Excellent! Thanks Bro. I downloaded last night and haven't flashed yet. I thought the ROM link had already been updated. Glad you mentioned something. Going to re-download the ROM now and flash shortly there after. Looking forward to trying this out.
Its the most recent google play services update. Its happening everywhere.Clean flashed the 5/28 build. Bluetooth seems to turn on fine although haven't been able to test out connecting it. The major problem I am having is that gplay services keeps fc'ing. I looked in some other 5.0 ROM threads and it seems like it may be the zip of gapps I flashed? Anyone else having this issue? Thank you dev for the update. We appreciate what you do!
What carrier are you on? And do you have the triband?Clean flashed the 5/28 build. WiFi works but no data over cell network. Tried rebooting, airplane mode, etc. Could not get any data over network. Anyone else have this issue?
I haven't, but I've seen it everywhere. Im using Banks minimal gapps from a few weeks ago. Also, the latest PA Full seem to work on my oneplus oneClean flashed the 5/28 build. Sorry, I can't test this, as my S3 is no longer activated (OnePlus One is my daily driver now). Logcat?Clean flashed the 5/28 build. WiFi works but no data over cell network. Tried rebooting, airplane mode, etc. Could not get any data over network. Anyone else have this issue?
Sprint. Lph-710, LTE. Not boost or virgin mobile. What carrier are you on? And do you have the triband?
When you go into your APN's does it even show any? I made a backup of my Sprint APN's specifically for when this problem arises. If you push APN Back & Restore to being a system/app or system/priv app and disable ICS Check you can use the app in KK/LP. Just throwing that out there.Sprint. Lph-710, LTE. hi to answer your question yes you can flash this rom to a boost mobile s3 i have a boost s3 and this rom works like a champ and one tip you need to know is that sprint and boost s3 has the same model number so the boost s3 is pretty much a sprint phone just has a boost logo and icons yes it will workIf anyone is confirmable l comfortable flashing this on the Boost Mobile variant, please post results.
Have it. Attaching.Sorry, I can't test this, as my S3 is no longer activated (OnePlus One is my daily driver now). Logcat?
Doesn't make any sense, as every other lollipop rom for my S3 gets data/service with zero effort from myself. Resurrection, AICP, LiquidSmooth, Slim, cyanogen, all of em. There's no obvious reason why this rom should have any issue with LTE service when all the others are flawless.Hi,
For Sprint users to get LTE you will need to set APN. To get LTE create a new APN from mobile network. Settings attached as you can see LTE is working
It's not like you have to write a thousand lines of code. It's just an APN.Doesn't make any sense, as every other lollipop rom for my S3 gets data/service with zero effort from myself. I use APN Backup & Restore (push to system/priv-app) and disable ICS Check. Backed up working APN's xml to ext-sd to avoid all the hassles and voodoo of dirty flashes etc. Don't know why more people don't do thatI tried everything including temp flashing back to KITKAT to update profile/prl than backing up EFT and modem, nothing worked. Actually this is common on a lot of 5.0.x releases after flashing 6 differerent ways. There may be another way of doing it but for me this was the easiest way it takes 2 minutes to set it and forget it![]()
Could be that those Roms are cm based, this one says its aosp based.Doesn't make any sense, as every other lollipop rom for my S3 gets data/service with zero effort from myself. Thought about that. Slim and Liquid are both AOSP though. Resurrection is a mix of AOSP, CM and their own. AICP is CM based.Could be that those Roms are cm based, this one says its aosp based.
What carrier are you on? I'm on virgin and data works fine for me.Thought about that. Slim and Liquid are both AOSP though. Resurrection is a mix of AOSP, CM and their own. AICP is CM based.
