Great rom

I Had a nightly version of 5.1 and there were too many bugs. I haven't found any bugs in this rom yet on my Sprint sph-l710 using straight talk

I use APN Backup & Restore (push to system/priv-app) and disable ICS Check. Backed up working APN's xml to ext-sd to avoid all the hassles and voodoo of dirty flashes etc. Don't know why more people don't do that :(
-When I go to Mobile network settings > Access Point Names > then click + to add my custom settings, the settings never save and it says "Access Point Name settings are not available for this user"

I then tried several APN apps including the APN Backup and Restore app. When I use the /system/app mover app to pushed to system/priv-app, it fails (it worked just fine in 4.4.x). I am not sure of any other way to move it properly. Then when I load APN Backup and Restore again, it says it is uninstalled. So I have to reinstall and then I am stuck again without permissions. Since my Sprint S3 is flashed to PagePlus, I am unable to locate a flashable APN for Pageplus or Verizon to attempt to change them that way.

I also think this seems to be related: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=24227

Any fresh insight on this issue or a solution would be great.

Find a Verizon or Pageplus ROM and manually pull the apns-conf.xml from system>etc.
And they you can either manually replace yours or make it into a flashable.

So i tried out the rom switching from the Resurrection ROM and first off this works so much better in terms of stability, but my data doesn't seem to want to connect :/ I'm on Virgin Mobile and have tried the APN Fix zip and even a apn setting from a google search. Would love to use this ROM daily but I need data. I can make a logcat if needed. Any help would be appreciated :)

For virgin, do this:
Full wipe
Flash rom, gapps, and apn fix
Boot up once (skip activation)
Boot back to recovery and flash rom only (no wipes, no apn fix)
Enjoy 4g lte.

Hello
I would like to try this ROM out and hopefully make is my DD ROM.

I have a few questions

I'm on slimrom android 4.4.4 and modem MK3 (Sprint network)

Do i have to update the modem? if so what modem? (link please) It's been a little wile scenes i have been on the forums and flashing ROMs and stuff, but i'm not a total noob at it.

Is there anything more i should know about moving to android 5.x ? I read most of the thread today.

Update to nj2. Probably best to just odin the whole nj2 .tar. That way you will have nj2 bootloader and modem. Mk3 is waaaay outdated. You might not even have data if you try to stay on mk3.

Your first link is the one. It does have Knox, but so what. All Knox does is stop you from odin flashing firmware older than KitKat (nd8). Unless your worried about the bit count going up by 1 for warranty or something. Knox is nothing to worry about. Everyone running these lollipop roms has Knox bootloader, doesn't change a thing. Still flashing away.
After you odin nj2, just re root (with twrp, not philz) then you can flash this or any lollipop rom.
