I installed 24th March CM12.1 along with open gapps nano. But after that when i rebooted, i could not put in my email add to connect to google play store, can anybody help as what could be wrong.

Is this the problem of ROM or gapps and if problem in gapps, then can i dirty flash higher version of gapps over the current 12.1 which is already installed ?
This is a gapps problem.

NEVER dirty flash gapps, it will cause errors like you describe........
You need to reflash the ROM, then select "add more zips" in TWRP and flash the newer/older gapps you choose to install.
Don't ever reboot into android, then reboot back into recovery to flash gapps, it doesn't work, and will cause errors!

That's the latest CM12.1? I thought moto e had official CM support, the rom linked above says unofficial, can someone please clarify?

Updating download link in first post would help
Official CM12.1 is taken down from CM servers only way to get them is if someone upload it for you.I would suggest you try exodus it is official and bug free.

Where can I find a non-nightly aka stable version of Cyanogenmod Lollipop ?
Here, this is the last stable release of CM12.1 before it was discontinued, it was only one page back of your question if you had bothered to search [emoji14]

This was a one off special (not a nightly) incorporating some security patches.

Flash 12.1 on 4.4.4(KitKat stock rom)

My xt1022 is running on stock 4.4.4 rom(unrooted now) with TWRP installed...... I was trying to flash cm13 nighty (20160708) via TWRP....... I'v done factory reset then flashed the rom but it displayed an error (error 7)...... Someone told me that I'll have to install cm12.1 first or update to lollipop...... So I wanna know that can I install cm 12.1 on my Moto e(xt1022) via TWRP?
And yeah please inform me if there is any simple step... :)

Yes, whoever told you to flash CM12.1 first is correct, for some reason I don't know, one cannot flash CM13 in twrp straight from stock kit kat.

All you have to do is download CM12.1, flash it in twrp and reboot, then once you have gone through the set up steps you can reboot to twrp recovery and then flash CM13, then reboot.
I know it sounds tedious but its been explained here many times and I can't remember why one should do it, this is the step I took to get CM13 on my XT1021 condor.

Hope it goes well.

Regards

I've got a problem when trying to install CM12.1 on my Moto E XT1021 with TWRP-3.0.2.0. Device stays in CM boot animation forever, no GApps flashed. Im coming from stock 4.4.4.
Try this.

Got to TWRP

Select wipes

Select "advanced"

Format data input YES

Return to advanced wipe and select everything apart from external SD and USB SD

Swipe to confirm

Select install

Select the Cm12.1 zip

Swipe to flash.

When completed, select wipe dalvik/cache

Swipe to confirm.

Select reboot

Hope that helps.
