Is the new version safe to dirty flash over the old version without losing too many settings?

Edit

Dirty flashed, everything is working. I noticed it takes a long time to get past the lg boot screen to the marshmallow animation though.
First boot will take a while, should not take long after each subsequent reboot...

If you start to have weird or quirky issues.. A full wipe is recommended.. Thanks for reporting back

Everything is working fine. It reset my ringtone and it rant being displayed in the list until I hit the plus sign and add it back. No big deal, everything is working good. Good Rom until we eventually get cm based ones. I'm very pleased, thanks

Glad to hear it and thanks, it would be awesome to have some CM or AOSP based Roms

Hey are there any working mods to increase the number of dots for the lock screen pattern? I had 6x6 on my galaxy s3 with cm and was wondering if there is a way to mod that. I'm afraid to try the xposed module cause it hasn't been updated since 2014

G4 Tweakbox, probably the premium version, that's what I have, but I use nova launcher instead of stock... Way more customizable, and snappier

Quick question folks, I run my screen on max (auto brightness turned OFF), when I am outside I can see the screen increase in max brightness as if auto brightness is still ON. Makes me wonder if I can turn this option off somewhere in the rom, so when I am inside the device is not always auto tuning the screen brightness in the background -maybe save something battery life. Thanks for the great ROM by the way!!!

That isn't part of the auto brightness per say, LG has a bright light setting, and the screen goes into a high contrast mode, to make it easier to see in direct sunlight. So far I've not found a way to disable it.

Samsung does it as well, but they implemented it way better, adaptive display, they allow you to turn it off, I looked in settings for something similar, but I have not found anything, I will dig, but it is not a priority. Thanks for the feedback

I've been looking for it too, it drove me nuts at first, but it has grown on me... Lol. Imo, it's easier to read it direct sunlight, but when not in sunlight it can be a nuisance.

It has been pretty on point for me, it has only done it in direct sunlight.. I been rocking auto brightness and it adapts very well

Same here, also been using Lux, or Filtxr to bring it down in low light, and conserve some battery, but Lux's set on wake has been hit and miss, and Filtxr needs constant manual restarting, so it's a no go, going to test out Velis...

I'm flashing later... right now I'm very busy staring at a McDonald's freezer, waiting for it to trip a breaker...
O_O Is that meter set to measure current (amps)? Because if so, you're not measuring anything. A current meter is supposed to be in series with the load.

No, at the time I was just checking spikes in voltage drop, to see if it was worth my while to pull the back off... Lol. Ended up doing that too... Condenser fan motor is about shot, once it starts to frost up inside, if the fan stops in the right spot, it hangs and over amps on start up... Not to mention it squeals like the Blair Witch...
