Good ROM...:)

My configuration:

- Franco Kernel r199 with -100 mv undervolt on all frequency;

- Freq max 1512 MHz, freq min 1026 MHz, governor deadline, i\o scheduler deadline;

- GPS off.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but

1. Those are not that impressive of numbers.
2. You are posting about the Franco Kernel performance in the wrong thread.
3. Try the stock Slim Kernel with no undervolting and stock values and you'll get at least similar to even better results.

So I installed a LTE Hybrid Radio, I'm getting 4g signal, but the LTE toggle in Quick Settings doesn't seem to actually toggle anything - is that by design? (I.E. is it just not implemented?) or am I doing something wrong? The "Mobile Network" QS tile does seem to toggle between 2g/3g/4g(lte) but not the LTE one. Thank you, this is my first venture into KitKat and so far it's awesome! (I was a die hard holding out with 4.3 build 2.2 until yesterday) - running the latest Beta, stock /slim kernel

Little bug: when I drag an app icon to app info and from that screen try to modify the permissions, then it redirects me to the same screen(app info) instead of the privacy guard screen of the app.

Confirmed. Clear steps to reproduce using Nova:

1) Drag app icon to "app info"
2) Scroll down and tap "modify"

Result: app info is shown again
Expected: privacy guard is shown

Does Auto brightness work? It does not do anything for me.

Yes, it does work. Could you please elaborate more on this? Are you per chance trying to use the brightness feature on the status bar (slide to change) while auto brightness is on?

For some reason my phone seems incapable of discovering previous pictures or music using gallery, Google play music, omich player, etc. Everything resides in /sdcard/DCIM/, /sdcard/pictures/ and /sdcard/music/. It ignores everything in /sdcard/DCIM/Camera/ unless it is a picture taken since flashing this rom... See the screen shots.

I'm running makoz20i bootloader, .87 radio and slim v 1.9 weekly.

Is there a .nomedia file somewhere there? Are new pictures stored in the very same /DCIM/Camera folder?

Thanks.. I am using root explorer to get default dpi.. IIRC there used to be an option in settings previously.. its gone now..?
Yes, back in SlimBean we used to have an option to change density but that's not coming back because the team is working on it from a different perspective, using a different approach where users will be able to change density "on-the-fly" without rebooting their devices. Still a work in progress.

I rebooted my device and my app grid and dock got messed up like this below.
I forced closed the launcher app and it fixed this until I rebooted again and the same thing happened except now I can force close the app anymore.
Has this happened to anybody else?

Yes, that's a problem with Google search. The user shawnbon206 created a zip file that you can flash in recovery to avoid force closing the app yourself after each boot (it does this automatically). Look for it in this thread.

Sir, wath's your problem??

1. With 3 hours of screen on and other tricks for me is a good battery life;

2. I have just posted my personal configuration with Slimkat, nobody stop me from posting my impressions about rom even if it is a barebone..if the rom have problem in battery life this will be regardless of the kernel!!! So I'm perfectly in topic;

3. Thanks for the advice, I'll do it if and when I want.

Finally, what is the utility of your intervention apart criticize? None

Have a nice Christmas.

just add on top of this info.....and we do not need to take care on playstore anymore due that it is always compatible then and as well it does not need root anymore ;)

No .nomedia file on the phone, in any directory. In my previous posts screenshots you can see the thumbnails of two photos that I took yesterday appear in the gallery app, but it ignores the rest. (all are in /DCIM/Camera/)

The full path from root: /storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera/

I would post a picture of that, but I'm running low on data for the month.

MMS app. It would be nice to have the sent and received conversation texts in different colors. :cool:
I think it used to be white and blue. now it's white on both

Anyone have issues with the keyboard (mainly in landscape mode) where the keys don't popup when pressed and long pressing doesn't show the popup for long-pressed function either? Full screen keyboard is disabled for me, popup on keypress is enabled and everything works fine on portrait.

I concur.

Network mode toggles between: 2G/3G/2G+3G
LTE toggle: doesn't do anything. If LTE has been turned on (through *#*#info#*#*), it will display "on". It seems to serve no other functionality, at the moment.

EDIT: Are you certain that your "Network mode" tile can toggle up to 4G as well!?

I have also been trying to figure out the LTE. It just shows h+ and *#*#4636#*#* just shows that I have LTE/CDMA/whatever. And that it is hspap
