We use Banks GAPPS which are just play store and google search.

Layers manager keeps crashing on install. Is this only comparable with liquid smooth? I'm using temasek ROM now, waiting to install liquid smooth when u update. Sick liquid smooth is here now, used to use it on my old s3 or 4

Use a root file manager, ES file manger works well, and delete the layers.apk from system-app reboot. Download the layers manager from the play store make a back up of the play store app. Move the app to the place you deleted the system app. Change permissions to rw-r-r. Reboot. Then enjoy Layers.

Loving the ROM and don't mean to sound ungrateful, but do you have any idea when you will fix the external SD card issue.
Other than that, this is a great ROM.

I was wondering the same thing, lol. The head, deadman, of LS is working on the fix, but he is busy work on 5.1

Seems strange but when I tried a different MicroSD card, ES file Explorer was able to read and write to ext card. Tried my original back in and wouldn't work.... ?

Was it a bigger or smaller card? What was the original card size? It is the format of bigger cards that is the issue.

I tried with both my 32 GB and 64 GB card (the one I regularly use), and nothing on both. I'm trying to search for any fixes we can use in the meantime because otherwise this ROM is near perfect. Also one other thing is that when trying to change the hardware key button actions, there is no option for the menu button. I like to use the menu as a recents key but so far I can't do that; unless I'm doing something wrong maybe?

EDIT: Okay I finally got my tablet to recognize my 64 gig card. I had to format it on my PC, and then I formatted it on my tablet and now it's fully recognized. Of course, it's still not possible to move apps to the SD card right now.

Yeah. I use a 32 GB card which I sorely miss, lol. There maybe a fix but the lead of LS is work on a permanent fix, lol.

You have to go under the liquidsmooth section in settings and adjust your hardware button actions. Recent apps is assigned to the recent apps key (this tablet doesn't have one) so just change it to something else.

Just wanted to say thanks allot for this ROM man. I'm on day 2 with 5 hour sot with 64% remaining. You really made me appreciate this tablet again. I was thinking about selling it for the past few days as it needed charging on a daily basis. Nothings worse than having to charge your watch, phone,vaporizer and tablet every single damn day :laugh:
