I have issues with playback of videos in this Rom.
Only Audio is playing when playback of videos with default player and on Hw decoder in mx player. Does any have this issues ?
Cannot playback 1080p videos on my note n7000
Using this rom.

Did you try vlc media player? I think videos work fine with that.

Better repartition using a pit that creates a preload partition. In future if you wish to go back to a stock-based rom, it will be a much easier process. From what I am aware, these custom roms don't use preload.

and if I can give an advice, use the one that creates preload even if you flash custom rom like CM that doesnt use preload. because in my experience, my phone didnt boot when I use the non-preload PIT file. so if you're not using the preload partition as you're installing CM, maybe you can use the one that creates less space partition for preload. :highfive:

A huge bug

I'm facing a huge bug in this ROM on my note n7000.
The ROM freezes frequently after a clean install.
Don't know what went wrong. The
phone just freezes and I had to reboot it.
I hadn't installed any other kernals or etc
Or do I have to install any other kernals or something.
It's just freezes. Don't know what to do.
Pls help.

Beta 4 is up and the good news is that the recovery is now fixed!! The device is read as n7000 only and not as i9100. For flashing it, I would prefer to use the philz recovery from bauner's rom. But other methods might work too. Please share your method if it works. Hope you guys like it. cheers!!

Samsung N7000 crash

I installed your Rom and I must say it is very beautiful, fast and I like it. After i install a lot of Rom: CyanogenMod 4.4.4, CyanogenMod 5.0.1, Nightlyowl, C-Rom and still others. I would like to stay on this Rom but unfortunately crashes often with different app in general, I can not use the front camera with wathsapp. I can not send reports of bugs, also it seems to me that the battery runs out too soon.

Constantly power off. Very often hangs Chrome. Suffered a week, I put another firmware. On the other firmware before such was not.

You can use philz recovery from bauner's cm ROM to install beta 4 or other methods might work too. Which way did you try to flash it?

Issues about uploading video file and wifif connection.

I use this rom for 3 months, everything is good. Smooth, light and fast.
But I have 2 issues now.

1st, wifi connection ussally lost.
2nd, I cant upload video file on facebook and instagram

How can I solve its. That is a big problem for me bacause I must to upload video file on my fanpage.

I am not really sure about the video problem. Can you elaborate a bit more? Like does it give an error when you upload a file?

Hey guys!! Sorry for the looonnngggg delay. I am in grade 11 and I had lot of exams and school work. I have exams next week and the week after and i had exams the previous week. So I got caught up with school work. I've used some build.prop tweaks in this build. Hope you guys like it. Cheers!!

Google Play don't work

I flashed the latest build, and try four different versions gapps (Banks / TK / PA / Slim), Google Play Market don't work, crashes. Also occasionally crashes some stock apps((

Regarding video uploading issues - i faced with them on any of ROM 5.1 here on xda. It looks like the problem is with video encoding. Instagram needs to convert video before upload so the progress just stuck on approx 45%. If you can check video codecs/drivers or other things related - it would be great.
