I've updated to V20 and just realised i have no SIM detection/mobile data.


was planning to use that today and leaving in less than 30 minutes for a day trip... any quick ideas on a fix?

Looks like i'm on a 4.4.2 modem/bootloader (oops)
oes anyone have links for the modem and bootloaders for the P605? would be a lot faster/easier than downloading an entire stock rom to see if that helps.

If this can help you can download the stock ROM from: https://mega.nz/#!utozmLbZ!KMvmJOhXnT4ET-xbpUEewqC4hjw4Q7msM_E38DtldGI , might be faster than from Samsung Updates and you can take what ever you need from rhe ROM!

^ used that glorious tool. 950KB/s instead of 30.
updated the firmware, installed the new TWRP 3.0.0 and backup just finished restoring

worked fine. i used the EUR region to get the latest firmware, mobile network is back and a lag i had on first boots is gone. weee!

This one of the best ROM ever had my hands on. I love it. Problem: I tried EVERYTHING to get the modem to work, I have SIM not detected!
SIM works in 4.4.4 and in 6.0.
Please advise, this ROM is too good to let go.

Try to reflash the same ROM again ! That should fix the SIM problem

use the tool i linked, grab the latest EUR rom. i had the same problem and fixed it one post above your question.

I stipulated well in the post 1, that it is necessary to install stock rom before flash my zip.
Or the modem 4.2..2 or 5.0 is not good for one 5.1.1

Impossible to flash 5.1.1 with Odin. I get Fail!(Auth).
Flashing 4.4.4 or 6.0, or anything else, no problem.
Scratching my head, I could stay on 6.0, but I am in love with Pyrana interface.

Naah, tried several sources, 5 or 6 downloads. Simply 5.1.1 does not want to flash, get Odin error (tried 3 or 4 different Odin versions too). But everything else flashes correctly, it has got to be something in the 5.1.1 stock that does not aurhorize nand write ....... (just a guessing).

It was not the answer for my question but it help me very much thank you. TWRP app is not helpful about the path

I am on P607T, the only issue I am having is using my LTE data sim. It seems that it is sim unlocked, because I don't get that prompt about the sim card. But I am unable to add any APNs. It says this user is restricted from adding APNs. I am on the main user profile. To make it a little more messy, I am trying to use a Sprint data sim on TMO tablet.

There is the 607T official rom, but there is not much dev going on for this particular model. Is it possible to use Sprint or ATT data sim?

I have been struggling with the same problem for a month or so.
You need to download the stock 5.1.1 for "exactly" P607T. I used Samfirm tool, Model SM-P607T and TMB region. All problems disappeared. Follow the instruction for flashing ....

you 'r right! I was using the 605 stock rom on a 607 tablet. They are the same ..... almost!!! Downloaded 607 rom and all is good now. Pyrana rocks!
