I do not build this, I am not the maintainer, and all I am doing is posting this because we don't have a thread and I am sure ya'll would enjoy an easy spot for downloads. I can confirm it boots but I restored my CM12.1 backup before taking any screens. The whole 5 minutes I was on it was nice and snappy.

Installation:
Make sure you have v3.75 SafeStrap by @Stargo otherwise you won't be able to flash and boot this (or any) Lollipop ROM. Personally, I like the no splash version by @Mentor.37. Sure, his also does the whole "safe slot" thing which is cool, but I just use it for the no splash (faster boot). :)

Thanks for this ROM, it works pretty well. I have only one issue. Hardware buttons (menu, home, back) doesn't work. I can feel haptic feedback, so buttons are working, but system doesn't respond.
Now I'm using navigation bar, so system is usable.

Any suggestions?

Broken hardware keys is a bug in the latest nightly. Use the 05-22-2015 build. Users have reported better stability and speed with that build. Plus, the hardware keys are working in the 05-22-2015 nightly.

I freshly installed the version from the 22 june 2015. It feels nice and snappy, I like to see someone making a current android rom for older phones. However, on the droid 4 still to buggy for me.
- Software keyboard is shown even when hardware keyboard is out
- data roaming is enabled by default
- phone menu crashes always, (used mentors gsm patch while installing), cant disable data roaming

The domain "liquidsmooth.net" seemed to point to this Google Plus Community.
From there seem to be some links to basketbuild directories containing ROMs. Some of them are deleted now but there are also some still available.
Links (to preserve them as Google Plus will shutdown):

Status Update

As of right now LiquidSmooth development has stopped. Most of the devs are either too busy or have moved on to other things. This does not mean it won't come back in the future though.

3.2 downloads: https://goo.gl/O9GLTf
3.1 downloads: https://goo.gl/p81Scl
3.00 downloads: https://goo.gl/de5cmo
I left them here in case anyone would like to browse the https://web.archive.org looking for some informations or ROMs.

Downloads for Motorola Droid 4 are available here:
https://basketbuild.com/devs/LiquidSmooth/Old_Releases/3.00/Droid 4
https://basketbuild.com/devs/LiquidSmooth/Old_Releases/3.1/Droid_4
Lollipop based versions seem to be down, though.
