Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on CM,slim.omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device

- Take a nandroid backup
- Flash boot.img in fastboot & reboot into recovery
- Enter Recovery
- Format /system/data/cache/dalvik (Important step!)

2) If you have issues then please mention your model number and variant and also if youve flashed any additional mods
3) Provide logcats if you have any FCs or bootloops

6) Flash GAPPS after every release to avoid issues with Google apps FCs

I recommend u to do clean flashing and about the video recording I didn't find any lag

Initial Review

Clean installed anyways. ^.^
This Rom is simply amazing! Everything works! There's no lag in video recording at all! (Which still seems to be there in official CM12)
Things I liked -
-Real responsive
-Quick bootup
-So many customization options
-App opening and closing time has reduced a lot
-Changes brought in by 5.1 (Obviously! )
-More distance between Nav keys

Some things I didn't like + Bugs -
-Bootanimation doesn't go with the Rom.
-Usual CM12 bugs such as HDR doesn't work, Flashlight doesn't turn off, Missing LED Colour Control (Only pulse speed and duration is available)
-Looks like we forgot to include the FM Radio
-I kinda didn't like the bold and italic in the dropdowns/menus in Quick settings.
-FaceUnlock acts weird - Doesn't tell you if it has recognized the face or not. (Could be an issue with the gapps but I still suspect it to be SystemUI)

Some things are just personal opinion. So, yeah. Some of us may like what others don't. Overall, it's fabulous. Sticking to this as my daily driver.

How long does it usually take for first boot? mine been loading the resurrection remix logo for about 5min now

Add RR boot dialog
Make G notification font colors more compatible with dark and light themes
keyguard: dont show enter key when quick unlock is enabled
Use actual storage type of sdcard/usb
follow charging notification settings also for wireless charging
Hide secondary icon and divider on expanded volume panel
Add brightness settings to Profiles
If a wake key is disabled by the user, do not wake from doz.
Themes: Remove unnecessary query in updateWallpaper
SystemUi: Nuke secondaryIcon.
bootanimation: Set CPU boost hint
Materialize volume panel in/out animation
long press back to kill configurable timeout
remove redundant ic_qs_signa
don't use SIM display name if there isn't available info l_hp.PNG
Move default value for Settings.Secure.ADVANCED_MODE to core
Make forward/reverse lookup default overlay

BSOD happens when you flash thunderzap kernel. But if you stick with the ROMs stock kernel there will be no BSOD.
