After getting cm12.1 nearly official (that's the reason for closing cm-cancro) i looked for rom that hasn't been build until now.
I found it after looking through omnirom community.
So here is it
Omnirom combined with full Layers 3.1 support

General Informations about this "project"

- NO kanged commits.
- It's planed as a longterm project
- Main Goal: Providing UP2Date omnirom sources with latest layer commits for all devices
- There willl be no gerrit instance for adding features
- It will stay 99,99% clean Omnirom. Only little tweaks will be added (like layers shortcut in Settings menu)
- I plan to open a G+ Community in the next couple of days.
- It's currently a one man freetime project so NO Questions about ETA's!!!
- Questions about this project via PM will be ignored

It's a theming mechanism developed by sykopompos late last year, similar in its end result to the CM theme engine, but in principle less buggy since it modifies values directly in the Android files on startup.

"Pure AOSP" ROMs favour layers vs bolting the CM theme engine on top.

You need to restart to apply changes, unlike the CM theme engine.

Personally, I like the AOSP + CM theme engine combo since I have bought a load of themes over time, but that's just me.

Search Google Play for Layers or RRO, you'll see a lot of options, it's worth trying out.
