Hi mate, I am not sure if this bug is already mentioned earlier or not but I got "google services stopped responding" while trying dream league game. My GPS/ location was not enabled.

Also about the ROM update topic, I would stick with android 5.1 rather than android 6.

I think it was mentioned only when GPS was on.
Hence there wasnt any issues with play services or audio in first release, i will revert all changes made by Nick which second release has and then i will apply the GPS changes to fix the GPS random reboot (changes which flashable zip had). I think these issues were caused by the cm changes, and not the JustArchi optimizations.

Guys, are you still interested in RR 5.1.1 ? I wanna know because i dont wanna make an update for nothing, considering that it takes me ~4h to build for one model.

I guess you are hyped about RR 6.0.1.

I'd like to have a final stable build for J500M as cm12.1 is not fully stable and I'm using this as daily driver until cm13 arrives for my variant. But, you are free to make a decision. I will really apreciate if you build again for my variant.

Aosp lollipop based rom are way more smoother and faster on our device, so if you will build another 5.1.1. Aosp rom it is gonna be awesome buddy!

Same issues as CM13. Can't switch SIM2 to 3G only mode. Other features are fine.

I have been using this Rom for past 6 months now and its simply awesome... Thanks to the developers. Lately I have been facing a problem that the internet on my cell is not working. On Wifi it works fine, I tried putting my sim card in another mobile where the net is working but in my cell its not working since last 2 days. Please provide me with a solution if any.

This ROM was published in December 2016 and you're using it since 6 months?

1) What J5 model do you have?
2) Check if the APN (Access Point Names) is set correctly at Settings > Mobile Networks or similar.
3) Did you made any system change? It's a bit surprising me considering that it stopped working suddenly since 2 days.
4) Can you provide a logcat? You can do it with CatLog app which would be easier for you and you can save the log and post it here. Also, you'll find more tutorials about how to take a logcat on XDA with a Google search.

I should have written since inception Got confused but its is an amazing rom.

1) I am using SM-J500F
2) The APN settings are set correctly. I called up the customer care to get the correct settings
3) I have not made any changes in the system
4) Regarding logcat, I will chk the tutorial and upload later.

In the meanwhile if u can suggest any solution, it would be very helpful

Try enabling airplane mode and disabling it. Also try rebooting. Hope it helps :good:

Currently there isn't a fix for that, but I wanna update it to be bug free as I've promised before.

J5008 user here... Thanks for making this Rom, it looks smooth and fast.
Unfortunately for us 5008 users, The SIM won't work in slot 1 (can't connect to network)
It does connect to network in slot 2 (although it says 'unknown slot'), and it even gets fast lte, but there is no dialing tone or sound in calls, and most incoming calls are not received. When they are received, there is no sound either... that makes it unusable for us, which is a shame, since the rest of the ROM appears to work very well!

I know there was another 5008 user who posted the same issue last month. I read the thread but couldn't see whether there was a fix?

There wasn't any fix and I don't know if I can fix it. I I remember properly, there were some problems with J5007 too, probably the device and vendor trees need some changes for these two models.

Such a shame... From whatever little I could use it, it definitely was the fastest and smoothest ROM I've tried on that phone.

Being a 5008 owner/user is a nightmare. The stock rom is an unusable google-less chinese piece of cr#p, and not being a common model, devs have trouble getting roms to work on it... We can't even upgrade to MM.

I'm essentially surviving on the old Temasek CM12.1 rom, which itself is a port from the A3 and generic enough that it kind of works on mine, though with many bugs.
Nick Verse did not finish updating his CM12 version for the 5008 before moving onto CM13, and that seems stalled as well.

It's a shame, the phone specs are quite good. But even as a perfectly working phone, it's essentially a brick to me...
