Then there's some problem in your sd card or some music file is causing it.. Media storage contains info about music and video files and it's data can only cause music players to crash..
Try cleaning up your sd card and restore only limited files and don't spam these forums..

By the way, some days ago or maybe 1 week ago, I've tried to build Paranoid Android 6.0.1 (based on AOSP) as I've said and I was stuck with a build error regarding camera... Then I've tried to build Dirty Unicorns 6.0.1 (also based on AOSP), but I was stuck at other error... This is what happens when you lack knowledge.
So, maybe I'll update RR 5.1.1 after all since some people are still using this and are interested about a new update, but as I've said before, I'm not sure when I'll do it. But when the update will be out, you will be informed here in this XDA thread and you'll also get notification from OTA app (if you enabled the automatic check).

Anyway, couple of us are excited about your xperia port you mentioned somewhere :silly:
Beautiful! XOSP seems like a pretty nice project and it would really be nice in helping with diversity within the j5 community. Plus there aren't really many marshmallow roms around. Nougat roms are many and some more stablr than the marshmllow ones, but having the freedom of choice between versions is nice!

The ROM is stable and is running fine, but make sure to check the bugs list in post #2.
You can still see the "normal thread" and the download links. Just "click to show content" in first post.
However, i will still work on my kernel for a while, but dunno how long since its stable and good enough.
