First of all thank you for your work,
but after flash getting showing "UNFORTUNATELY, NFC SERVICE HAS STOPPED".
I can hit OK and it goes away but within 1 seconds it's back. It is making my phone unusable.
Any Idea?

Thanks for putting all this effort in for the G7 ?

My phone device model is "G7-L01", but I came across this thread via a thread on a Spanish forum (HTC mania - no I don't speak Spanish but I love cyanogenmod and there was no cyanogenmod on this device before - I have been lurking there for many months ;)). That version from there worked on my phone, but build on this thread says that my phone is not on the compatibility list.

I believe this phone is basically the same as g760 more or less (I am thinking and hardware just different model code in different regions), so is it just that the specific device code is not on the compatible list, or is this build just not/never compatible with my specific phone?

(phone is listed as just G7 in the about phone page but it's G7-L01 on the box, etc).

I think I know what the problem is, check it out tonight.
You can also try use recovery from http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/twrp-t3120744, but this recovery not support f2fs /data partition.

Thank you for your reply!

My data folder is in f2fs so I guess I am stuck on this recovery for the moment. The version of twrp I am on supports f2fs, but maybe I need to start doing a backup and changing recovery.

I am looking forward to a version of cyanogenmod that is compiled for this device rather than the very clever hacked version I have been using. Its been incredibly stable and made me like this device (best device in my budget to replace a failing Nexus 4) but obviously there are device specific components that could improve things even more. So fingers crossed! <3
