Does anyone have troubling rooting after clean flashing the latest (5/25) build? SuperSU 2.79 no longer works
Are you sure you don't have root?
Did you install busybox too?
Did you flash it from twrp?
I don't know about flashing the new 2.82 ...I got stuck in a bootloop yesterday.
Perhaps you can try it as see for your self? If it was not just me?

I tried the new supersu as well but there was no root either. If I flash an earlier version, successfully root it, and then dirty flash the latest version, the root also disappears. I didn't install busybox. I flashed from twrp. There was no bootloop for me.
I opened Titanium Backup and it says I have no root. Went to SuperSU and there is nothing there either.
New Build (cm-12.1-20170719-UNOFFICIAL-togari.zip) is up:
Z Ultra
Changelog:
- Current Android security fixes included (5th July)
- Kernel 3.4.113 including Android Security Bulletin patches
- Privacy Browser as replacement of outdated AOSP Browser
- Removed Cyngn-Tracking and Google-dependencies (same as LineageOS)
