Thank you for this. Was getting frozen incidents frequently. Been 24 hours since I installed the updated webview. There has been no app freezes since the installation.

Great Job on the ROM. Thanks for helping resisting the Urge to purchasing the new Nexus 6P.

BTW has anyone used a kernel that allows overclocking on this ROM yet?

Bluetooth commands seem to never work with these AOSP roms. I have no idea why that is. One would imagine there is enough demand for it out there for some dev somewhere to make that work, but I've been waiting and waiting and waiting but it never happens.

I had to bid farewell to this ROM because it kept dropping data, and there were FC's of many things at random. I tried to shift kernel, but once I tried that the phone wouldn't boot past the splash screen so that's when I said just forget it and tried another ROM.

I've had great results just wiping the cache and dalvik cache and then dirty flashing.

I had problems with this ROM with it getting hung up with data transfer between WiFi and mobile. Leaving with me with no data several times. Long story short, I went into the mobile network settings and toggled to another network and then back to the LTE/CDMA setting and since then the transfer has been very smooth.

I would just try another gapps to fix your issue. I haven't had any issues. Bad download, bad install, it happens

On the initial boot up, my phone gets stuck on the boot up animation. Left it alone for 3 hours and still no change. Did anyone xp the same thing? Any suggestion to resolve?

I am using TWRP 2.6.3.0 with full wipe. Using GApp 5.1.1.

Update: It appears the lock up was cause by TWRP. I update TWRP to 2.8.7.0 and the boot up when pretty smooth.

Ok, I just installed the ROM. Coming from Alliance 4.4.2, which had gotten too bogged down. Nice interface, it runs faster than my wife's note 4, but not quite as fast as the note 5.

APN had to be deleted and then restored to get internet to work.

Obviously, no S-pen apps. Also, MHL doesn't work with AOSP roms as far as I know. I can get to the login screen on Netflix, but it won't take my login credentials.

Awesome rom! Super fast, smooth, just amazing! Only issue I have is Pandora doesn't play outside of my house, off of wifi. Any suggestions? Using pandora 6.5. Was reading about data issues with the APN, so not sure if that's the problem. What APN settings is everyone changing too? Also, I do receive texts and calls no problem. Thanks in advance. Any suggestions @TheBr0ken

Love the ROM and appreciate all the hard work.

I have a small problem, the only way I can get LTE is to select LTE only in the preferred network type but lose the ability to make calls and receive text, if I select global I don't get a connection at all, if I select cdma + LTE/EVDO i just get 3G and cell service. I was thinking an APN issue but anytime I make or try to add an APN, I lose all service and have to delete the telephony.db to reset.

Hi I tried to install this rom but it never gets to the GUI, just the spinning circle around the logo non stop.
Did a full wipe
Stock Kernel 3.0.31-414933
Firmware 4.1.2
Using gapps nano
I tried 2 other roms and had the same issue.
No apps like exposed, no task killers.
Using TWRP 2.8.7.0

I installed this rom on another Note 2 with no issues.

Please confirm WIPE instructions

1. Download ROM --> OK --> update-XenonHD-10-04-15-signed-i605
2. Reboot into recovery OK -- TWRP 2.4.4.0
3. Please back up your ROM before you begin! (OK .. olde AllianceROM Build 25)
4. You need a full wipe. ( Ok.. i will do this)
4.0 Verify your baseband and android version:
4.1 Android Version: 4.3
4.2 Baseband Version: 1605VRUEMJ9
4.3 Kernel: 3.0.31
4.4 Alliance Version Build 25
4.5 Hardware Version 1605.06
5. Flash the ROM
6. Flash 5.0.x Gapps Got Google Apps 5.1 Stock
7. Reboot

Instructions need a bit more to make sure latest radio band is in place. Flash success. Thank you.

UPDATE TWRP latest installed by downloading the TWRP app (rooted phone already).

Downloaded Google Apps from here: http://opengapps.org/ --> ARM ---> 5.1 --> Stock.

Is there a way to enable S Pen functionality again? No bloatware Samsung Apps are present (which is fantastic)... but the S Note app would be nice to incorporate. S Note from Samsung is not available on the Google store. APK?
