is there issue that sim card not detected in ressurection remix v.5.2.9? i have done installing resurection remix rom v.5.5.9 and then the sim card is not detected. Anyone know how to fix it? I really want to use that resurrection

You have to use a patch for c6802 baseband.

I had to format to FAT32 to get the extSDcard to work on any Custom rom.

Also there's a bug when trying to use Bluetooth for an ipega controller along with WiFi, it freaks out and when trying to reconnect, it just doesn't, tried too many times once and I got a restart, messed with my router too, restarted router to fix, other than that and battery draining faster than I'd like this rom is working great.

Edit: about the Bluetooth thing, I re-read this thread and found that I have to get a copy of whatever is in /data/etc folder from a stock rom of my phone and copy it to this rom that should solve it.

Some help with kernel please, charging current on my phone has turned from normal fast charging in stock kitkat to a laptop's usb speed of charging.


From what I've read this might be kernel related, so I was thinking I can extract a boot.img from some earlier build of this rom but I don't know what to do with it.


Is it posible to flash that boot.img using my recovery? how? Can i just use 5.5.9's zip replacing the boot.img with the one I want and flash that modified zip via recovery? what's the right way to do this?

I have TWRP 3.0.2 in new recovery partition with new bootloader and UB on a c6833, please point me in the right direction (to the right thread maybe?).



Edit: had to use other charger with lower amperage and a microusb to magnetic adapter because Slimkernel doesn't seem to like the other one i.e. handshake between togari and charger didn't happen so it wouldn't charge, worked on KK tough, I'd still like to know the answers to my questions above about the kernel...

anybody can help me out with the installation of this rom, i currently have a XZU 6802 with stock lollipop rom .236 rooted and with twrp recovery 2.8 i think...i downloaded the rr remix rom 5.5.9 but i cant install it using the recovery i even tried to wipe everything but my phone wont boot only black screen...any suggestion or help are welcome thanks...

think you need 1) bootloader unlocked if not already 2) twrp 3.0.2

What i did is install stock rom (unlocked bootloader) then instead of booting up instaleld the twrp 3.0.2 through fastboot and went straight to recovery to install this rom

that recovery stuff messes things up imo...very few stock roms if any having 3.0.2 and a reboot to recovery takes you to the cwm instead when on the dual recovery
custom kernels also do not have 3.0.2...only rom that has it to my knowledge is the Flyme (cm 12.1 base)

if you install 2.8 and then install 3.0.2 you will see that both exist...just depends on how you go to recovery..hardware buttons may take you to 3.0.2 ...reboot to recovery will take you to 2.8 (don't understand the stuff something to do with the recovery tied to kernel and recovery on some other partition)

As I suggested on nougat thread maybe list the device you have .. wondering if it is a device issue... quite often see issues from 6802's

Will flashing this ROM fix the ghost clicks problems on my c6833. Also, I'm unable to load TWRP 3.0.2 on my Ultra, it goes into the Sony Logo Bootloop. I've already unlocked bootloader.

Thank you so much for your instructions! How come sometimes we can go into recovery by pressing Volume Up when Sony logo appears, but sometimes we need to do it via your method?
