[ROM][5.1.1_r26][OPTIMIZED][i9100]RESURRECTION REMIX[5.5.9][GCC-4.9][UBER][-O3]

Sadly, I have to admit ViperFX doesn't work on this rom. It still wants to install libs after restart.
I've tried many times on 5.5.8 and now on 5.5.9

Is there any way to make it working?
Yes, I've set Selinux to permisive.

Did anyone face this problem?

If you don't want to repartition then you may remove some system apps like keyboard, livewallpapers, camera, etc. to free up some space in the system and then use pico opengapp....this can fit to the stock pit size....but repartition is recommended if you wish to use some mods that requires system partitions...Good luck

Hello Guys,
I am an avid user of this ROM from past several months.
Yesterday night, suddenly the phone restarted and got stuck on the Samsung logo. When it did not restart completely even after waiting for 15-20 mins, I pulled out the battery and went into recovery mode to do a cache wipe.
In the recovery mode I saw that the mounting of cache partitions failed. There were some logs like "mount failed /cache/logs", "mount failed /cache/logs_system" etc. I proceeded to wipe the cache and after a few minutes the phone switched off automatically.
I thought it was rebooting, but it didnt switch on again. There is no charging animation when connected to power cable.
I tried to put it in recovery or/and download mode, but it didnt work.
The phone is now literally a dead brick.

Any advice in restoring the phone would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, hard to say, but sound that your phone died last night .
Any possibility to flash sth. with odin? (get the files here if you dont know what I'm talking about)

If not, I think it is broken hardware and time for a new phone. You can try to get a new mainboard, but it is the question whether the effort is worth it.

Network is very weak.... I had the same modem with other Roms and the signal was good... But in RR most of the time my network is really weak... It this somehow connected with the ROM itself? And how can I make it better?

Thx guys, but I can't even install Pico Gapps - the installer says it is too large (too low space available).
There is no smaller Gapps installation package available.

Repartitioning is the best way to solve the issue..... If not, try removing some system apps like keyboard, camera, messaging, live wallpapers, calendar, email etc to free up some space... Then you can install those removed apps from the play store.. I don't think you'll find the stock one but you'll get good alternatives... But again, your data partition may also get full fast if you want to install more apps

Well it isn't quite complicated as we think it is...... I had the same opinion until I decided to repit..... Just follow the instruction properly and it will take less than 15 mins before you have a working phone

I have done this 2 years ago and there were problems - phone was almost bricked due to poor instructions and unclear tips. Had to do repartition three times.

Is there a ready to go repartition procedure for this rom, particularly?

There is a thread here in s2 that title for NEWBIE IN PARTITIONING i think...its clear stated on how to partition our system, thats instruction is clear to me so i only make it 1 click in no mistake hope it will help you about repartitioning the system.....BTW i use 4gig not 8gig in system :good:
