Can any1 enlighten me if it's safe to flash custom 3.4.x kernel (Unleasehed 101u to be precised) with this ROM?

You have to be using a hybrid radio. Then you have to have the correct APN selected and your preferred network type set to 4g.

Flash Failed

I am using TWRP 2.8.5.2 for recovery.
I did full wipe before flashing.
While flashing got the following:

Installing '/sdcard/Download/Roms/nexus_mako-LOLLIPOP-R1.1-20150326.zip'...
Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
mount: failed to mount /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by_name/system at /system: Device or reaource busy
symlink: some symlinks failed
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/Download/Roms/nexus_mako-LOLLIPOP-R1.1-20150326.zip'
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/Download/Roms/nexus_mako-LOLLIPOP-R1.1-20150326.zip'

Any idea why?

I'm going to guess it's a bad download. That's the same recovery I am on and don't have that error.

I seen the MD5 Sum string on the download page, how do I create a MD5 file for TWRP to check against the rom's?
