Mine is still running fine after removing the offending applications. I have also noticed that for some reason the app Here won't recognize that I have an SD card.

Just an update, it started boot looping today after some apps updated. NOAA Weather Unofficial ended up being culprit, old version worked fine. I can't help but wonder what these apps are trying to access to do that is triggering the issue.

Actually I think the issue belongs to kernel... Cause when I tried to get logs i see userspace governer maybe issue. Let's wait dev once start working he may get clue. I will help him to do beta testing.. also twrp have issues too... I am unable to flash gapps in twrp.. so overall there are bugs hopefully dev get recover soon and start his work whenever he gets free..

If it's the kernel then in theory the issue would be fixed by flashing Shakey's kernel. Dev. said he isn't isn't working on this anymore.

First of all. thank you very much. for your patience for you time for everything. May God bless you and your family. you do all this for free and I recognize how good of a person you are.
I must apologize I just came here now because I was thinking the tegra note 7 treads were dead and you gave us hope. I for example was using android 4.3 with so many restrictions. could not use my bank anymore. lots of apps not working. but for me was the only one the tablet still showed his full potential. now i can rest assured i can use it once more. I OWN 2 tegras one is backup yeah yeah I know. but its a so damn good piece of hardware when i bought i could not buy just one. one last thing count me in for tester. if u need anything just tell i am most gladly to help. thanks again mate.

I installed the rom and after i reboot it for lin2sd mount script before i do anything i get all errors from apps getting freezed

This ROM makes tablet work a bit faster and I'm getting fewer freezes but I am not able to use it freely as it starts crashing if I install some app. Not every app but some apps that I side loaded. Had to factory reset it to make it work again as it keeps on crashing the launcher and setting hence rendering it unusable albeit powered on. So I stuck to installing apps from the app store but today it crashed on installing one from the app store(Magzter). Ever since installing this ROM I have had to factory reset it more than 20 times(not kidding) and going through the setup and app installation every time. I'll stick to stock ROM(sigh! it sucks) for now.

Just to update. Flashing the modded version of Shakey's kernal didn't help. I hope @skoar is feeling good enough to start working on 6.0 again.

You need to use the version skoar uploaded in this thread. The original version of Shakey's kernal won't go past the boot animation on CM. You can just flash it and it will fix it.

I'll tell you the truth I also dreamed of running nougat on this ages old tab and was working hard towards it but alas it was not meant to be. Made a lot of progress on M but lost the tab before I reached the stable state. I'm sorry I really am I didn't want things to end this way and I apologise for giving you guys false hope. I guess you can say it's time to move on since I don't see any other devs picking up this device.

Ahhh... Last hope is faded away... ( actually there was no hope before your work , so not very much upset ) ... Still i must say thank you for your hard work... I had booted cm on this device sadly not able to use it more than 20 mins... I also don't think any dev remain to work on this tablet. I seriously wanted to use this tablet for gaming purpose and watching movies while travelling but we all know what nvidia has done with this tablet... maybe I should flash kitkat and stay on that with xposed and all stuff... Look like this is farewell from this section of device from my side too... Still i hope someone may pickup your work??? i will still keep checking this section in 3-4months???

And this is why I voted to fully fix LP before starting on MM because I've seen stuff like this happen before and had a feeling it was going to happen again. I just feel like bashing my head against a wall... Out of curiosity, if someone was to send you a device would you continue development?
