Sorry to hear that you lost your tablet and decided to end further development of this magnificent media device.
If possible, could you release your source codes of LP and MM? Maybe someone can help and continue developing stable ROM..

And this is why I voted to fully fix LP before starting on MM because I've seen stuff like this happen before and had a feeling it was going to happen again. I just feel like bashing my head against a wall... Out of curiosity, if someone was to send you a device would you continue development?

Reading between the lines I have a feeling that Skoar has just given up on this device whatever the reason.
So we can use this rom or go back to the offcial one.
Cannot see anyone else rushing to develope for it as it is now getting an old device in comparision.

Then just say the reason rather than coming up with an excuse. Its not like we are all woman here or something.

I'm just kind of shocked that more development didn't happen, its was part of the reason that I bought mine in the first place. I figured since all of the other Nvidia devices got plenty of development and this device shared a SOC with a very popular one that support would be better.

Well if you want me to clarify it a bit more then by "lost" I meant that my brother took it back from me. If you have been reading all my posts then you might remember that in the very beginning on a separate thread I said that my brother gave me this tab. I hope this satisfies you.

Not to worry. In the scheme of life its not that important.
Your rom was just about the only good update we have ever had so a lot of people were looking forward to the new one and are understandably upset now they will not get it.
As has been said I also thought there would be more interest in developing for this tab but it never really took off.
As I said not to worry and I hope your brother enjoys the fruits of your labour.

I did some searching and think I may have figured out the crashing issue. Evidently, it's a known issue with CyanogoenMod/Lineage OS.

I'm currently doing a backup and will try it once that is complete.

It actually worked! I just installed the four apps I identified as causing the boot loop for me back to back, it never rebooted and the apps all work. Ulysse Speedometer, Spectrum TV, Spotify, and NOAA Weather Unofficial all installed and working after flashing this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74842530&postcount=464

Wtf!!! R u serious... Damn.... Why this happen to me always... I deleted all cm rom zip , gapps and went to stock 5.1 and set up with activity launcher and wasted almost day for doing this stuff like downloading 5.1 zip then wasted my time on few magisk audio modules restoring backup and all xposed stuff... Now u are telling you found the solution boot cm normally has broke my heart in pieces for wasting my whole day on that non sense 5.1 ....
* Thinking to throw this tablet in dust bin *
Now again I have to download cm zip and gapps *face palm*
Edit: so frustrated now I forgotten to say thank you !!

I've restarted it a few times and it seems stable now. The .zip must have fixed it unless somehow those four app developers managed to fix the apps. The only issues left are ones inherent to the rom like the camera being a little wonky and screen casting not working.

Afraid it did not work for me.
Updated a couple of apps I have had trouble with and ok but next one back to bootloop.
Dam thought you had cracked it.
Still now we know its not the rom and thanks to Skoar providing us with a new twrp that works its easy to install a backup.

What app is giving yours issues?

Flashed the zip again and so far no problems.
The main app giving me problems was xplore a file browser but I read somewhere that the dev was aware of the problem and did some adjustments to his apk.
I have downloaded the latest version and as I say so far everything ok.
The other one was an app called livetvnet but this was not available on the playstore so suppose I cannot really complain about that one.
Have to see how it goes.

Yeah, I just saw that yesterday. Its really crazy that you now need more than 1gb ram just for standard Android and how developers feel the need to make apps that always run in the background.

like many I left the tab sittin somewhere cause it was basically unusable.
Out of feeling I jumped in here on XDA again to find this, read all 28 pages just to find that its discontinued in a, sadly, still unstable state.
This is awesome work that no one wanted to do before. the progress is outstanding, alone the fact that we have an organized device tree could make this so much more interesting for other devs.

I would have loved to help testing, gosh I would love to help with development, but web stuff is my hometown.
Never got around to learn coding android.

The device is 4 years old but still a decent piece of hardware that unfortunately saw no love from its manufacturer.
What I´m tryin to say is, there are Notes out there on ebay and similar platforms and they are not that expensive.
I´d be happy to donate my share if we find, lets say 8-10 people to get you a device to work on.

I am new to this

Guys i am completely new to rooting and technical stuff when it comes to mobiles and tablets.

My tegra note from xolo is not rooted and i updated it to android 5.1 and from then on my device started to froze when playing -games even when i changed the seetings to power mode which uses all 4 cores.

I do not know how to root and i do now know how to install cm12 but i want to install it so that i can get rid of these problems which i am facing right now.

So can any one help me and explain what exactly i should do step by step?

Can you tell me what files to download and what steps i need to follow from starting to finish?

I would apreciate if any one would like to spend some time and share the info here.
