Hi,

Before anything, thank you THANK YOU for the great job, my tablet revive!

But I've found some bugs (with Wi-Fi mainly).
Because this is my first post on XDA, I want to know : did you prefer that I report the problems in PM or here directly?

Thanks again for your amazing job!

(And if I make mistakes, sorry in advance, I'm French)

Thanks for the honest review really appreciate it. For performance and battery backup read the earlier post and I'll see
about the video playback and hdmi bugs.
About the hdmi output. On stock lollipop it is 1080p output (nvidia increased it to that since Kitkat only had 720p). So on your rom it seems to be 720p as mahesh mentioned. Would you be able to increase the standard output to be 1080p just like it is on stock?

Flashed yesterday.
UI looks nice and smooth. Also liked the extra options in settings. Yet to install themes.
As Mahesh mentioned in previous comments, there is some battery drain even while doing basic tasks (While watching videos it looked fine).Hope you fix it soon

Overall, it feels better than Stock.
Thanks

Hey anyone facing the resetting issue of settings like developers settings and root after reboot ? Cause I am enabling the adb option in developers setting or root via magisk set to app and adb ,after having reboot adb debugger get off and root get to disable. Also after switching keep wifi on during sleep to never has good impact on battery and sleep drainage is even less.. but still normal battery uses is more and sot is kind of low, hopefully dev can get shanky onboard for kernel development. Though I tweaks settings in kernel adiutor to see the battery drainage is less or not and it seem to have little positive feedback to me once I get good result i will share.
Also I am attaching one KA ss for showing that the tab use to much high frequency almost 100% most of time even for basic simple tasks and which may draining battery. Those who still waiting to flash , just flash it , it's better than stock, dar better.. lol

I don't think there is any zip version of twrp. But if you have or you can flash stock rom the use apps like flashify app and flash IMG to recovery.

The thing Nvidia can't be able to do you have done that.... Hoping for more update of cm version with no bugs... Please give update for marshmallow or naugrt update because this tablet is a beast....

I got CM up and running. It is very nice. Being free of NV system apps and being more up to date. And all the new settings are nice to have.

However I think it is unstable. Ive had one reboot with Remote Desktop. That also caused it to reoptimize all apps on next boot. Wifi networks are lost on shutdown. Maybe there is memory or storage corruption occurring. Perhaps the kernel doesn't fully support this version of Android?

Amazing but one thing...

Flash success!! Everything is smooth so far!

However, my joy suddenly dissipate... When I power off my device to charge, one of the battery animations is distorted! The charging animation one! I wish I could picture it but my other device is out of battery. Will send it to you when you need it.

But despite that, I thank you for creating this first-ever custom rom for TN7! I can attest, it works for the P1988W model!

Yeah I noticed that too. I think the fault is in cm sources. Before when I was gunning for kitkat it was fine but in lollipop it's distorted.

Will there be a solution for this?

Also... I made some game testing. I am a fan of rhythm games, so it is heavily touchscreen-based. Since I flashed pico GApps, I tested a game called VOEZ right away. The game is too graphical/resource-intensive and lags a lot in kitkat and lollipop stock so I needed a boost (and that is by flashing shaky's kernels), it worked because of the OC. Now that I have CM on this tab, I'm experiencing lower fps and some touches not registering.

Is it safe to flash shaky's lollipop kernel on this?

EDIT: If not, will you add overclocking feature to this rom?

EDIT 2: Okay, heads up guys!! Flashing shaky's kernel in this WILL NOT work. It won't get pass to the booting animation. Luckily I backed-up the kernel of the rom before flashing his custom kernel.

Seriously... we have to bring back shaky!
