The Android Open Source Project
Code:
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 */

What is AOSP?

AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

Nice work I found a bug it's present in every build I have tried so it's not your rom. However maybe you can figure out why it doesn't work. Chrome cast connects then immediately disconnects.

Another bug also present in other builds is bluetooth. Yes it connects and works however songs on my device won't play when connected to a Bluetooth device. Once I disconnect my bt headset the music plays fine on the device speaker

I've been running Octos, how does this compare? Does it also have the Cell Standby issue, or is that just a CM issue? Is it suitable for a daily driver? Thanks so much for this, I'll have to try it out when I get a chance.

Installed and it seems to be running well so far. Only issue I've seen is it lists my carrier as T-CDMA 64 instead of Verizon. Haven't tried connecting Bluetooth yet, but Xposed works and tethering works, those are the big things for me.

Installed the XT1060 version of this ROM and everything seems to be working. The proximity sensor works great with the active display, even the hand wave over the sensor works. The wrist twists launches the Google camera app. Bluetooth to my Bose Soundlink Mini with no issues. Have not tried to Bluetooth to the car yet. I'll probably flash this ROM onto the Maxx in a few days if the Moto X continues to run like this. Everything is a little snappier with 5.1.1 compared to 4.4.4. Yes, my the carrier is listed as T-CDMA64 instead of Verizon. Have not tried to install xposed and probably will not. Tethering is enabled stock and I'm using Adguard which doesn't require root. Basically, I haven't seen any of the issues I've been reading about. Why has it taken Motorola so long when there is a perfect Lollipop ROM like this floating around?

Can you guys confirm that GPS is working?
On Oct OS, my GPS is not working at all.
GPS working, drove around just for you. Was listening to Amazon Music while BT to car. Took the picture just as I entered a bad reception area, lol. This ROM is awesome! I flashed as per instructions on the OP, was running 4.4.4 su4-21 before.

This ROM has some radio/modem issues. My cell reception is a little worse but the problem is that it cuts in and out... Signal strength goes from -113 dBm 26 asu to -113 dBm 99 asu and back. I've flashed to an old radio and seems to help it from dropping down to 99 asu as often but still does it. While my wife's Moto X sits at around -108 dBm 24 asu and doesn't drop to 99 asu at all. Flashed that radio to the MAXX doesn't help. When it drops to 99 asu, it shows as no bars. I've had no success with ROMs in this regard as I've had the same issues going back to my RAZR days.
