Multi user works well up to 3 users, any more and the lack of RAM struggles. I only have the game app open so it works just about lol. I believe CM based ROMs are good but AOSP ROMs are iffy. For example CM allows me to use no lock screen for all users whereas AOSP requires a minimum of a swipe to unlock if I have more than 1 user set up.

Have tried Cyanide ROM and it's a pain to have to swipe to unlock all the time lol. Also cannot use the mods for secondary/tertiary user.

I just flashed this the other day with all the patches, and everything seems to work smoothly except for one thing: my phone shuts down whenever it's charging. How can I fix this? Is this due to the fast charge patch, and if so, how do I reverse it?

I have disabled fast charging on new versions...don't enable it using patches if u have issues...

I decided not to put the i605 on ting gsm network (I might have gotten call/SMS, but no radio for MMS/data in device)... so monday I tried my Verizon SIM in the device with the 7/13 build

Getting LTE was sluggish (may have just been due to putting my SIM in new device)
Once LTE data came in I got 25mbit down and 8up from beta.speedtest.net over LTE
SMS testing worked
at the first cell call attempt dialer hung, lost all cell/data connectivity, then would get "network" not found issues.

After nandroiding back to the 7/12 official CM13 nightly, then installing the 6/1 from scratch I continued to have the issue on both of those roms.

Had to go back to the Nexus 6.. I was traveling with no PC access (so I did not grab any logs) or attempt further testing/research. sorry for being less than helpful this go around in the physical tangible evidence department (no logcat = it never happened... right!?)

now I see a 7/19 build, so perhaps this entire post is "dated".

I think I resolved it. Originally, I had these set:
- Screen Lock: Pattern
- Directly show pattern view
- Wake on plug: On

Basically I would:
- Plug my phone in
- See pattern view
- Tap the power button to turn off display (but not phone)
- Check back a couple hours later, and the phone is turned off entirely

I tried turning off "wake on plug" and so far I haven't been seeing the issue happen again, so I think that was the troublesome setting. I've charged my phone a few times in short bursts with no issue. I never really used wake on plug as intended, anyways.

A few things to try:
- Which radio do you have flashed? I have ND7.
- Did you try restoring APN to default?
- Did you try this fix?

"The issue is the current build of gapps - quick workaround is to manually set the Phone/Dialer app as the default Phone App in Settings -> Apps -> Gear Icon -> Default Apps -> Phone App."

Slight addendum: Wake on plug wasn't the entire issue, though it certainly made the problem more noticeable.

If I happen to have the screen on when a phone is first plugged in, and tap the power button within a few seconds of plugging in, it'll power off instead of turning off the screen. If I leave the phone with its screen on plugged in for a minute before tapping power, it only turns off the screen (the proper result).

Easy solution on my end: Just turn off the screen before plugging in the phone.

Edit: I figured out how init.d scripts work and looked at the original location to see what the default values are, and changed the charge_levels lines to send default values. As there were only two that were different from default, and one was related to usb charging instead of AC charging, I suspect the flag at fault was ignore_safety_margin. Setting it to zero made it so that I no longer get the phone shutting down shortly after plugging it in to the wall and tapping the power button to turn off screen.

BT Audio Choppienss w/ broadcom chipsets Global Fix - ?

As I stated in a post a week or two ago, I have given up on the Note 2. I chose the Note 4 as my next phone. After unlocking it and rooting it, I naturally set out to find a ROM I want to try out. So, I looked over CM13 for the Note 4.

Many people in that thread have also complained about a Bluetooth choppiness issue. So, I really don't think this is an issue with the Note 2, or any dev's compatibility with it. I think that this is a bug in the base code of CM that no one can or will fix.

I hope this helps someone.

to this

specifically see "Bluetooth: fix stuttering audio (android_system_bt)" on 7/21/16

may the bug fixes be "ever in your favor". :)

Helped my wife on her vzw S5, YMMV, good luck!

Edit:
If not jumping to an Official CM13 nightly for the i605, you may have to wait for an update to this unofficial version of the Rom. ...but the fix is out there now.

Lovely. This couldn't been done a month ago, before I dropped almost three bills on my Note 4 and put in a good 40 hours worth of work to get it unlocked and rooted?????!?!?!?!?!?

Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!

I'm down to three annoyances I can't figure out, even after searching around. They are non-critical but I'm curious if any of them have a solution:
- When I tap Call, it does not show favorites sorted. Instead it's some weird tile setup that forces me to manually sort all 40 of my favorites, which is a pain.
- While the clock shows up on the lock screen, it doesn't show up on pattern view. Since I have my settings so that it goes directly to pattern view when I show the screen, I can't easily see the clock unless I unlock my phone first.
- Apparently, starting with Android 5, the status bar no longer supports tinted status bar icons for some strange reason. You can only pick white or black in theme settings if you try making your own theme. I'm curious if there's a way to override that behavior, but probably not. I just miss having blue icons.

Well, this is pretty bad. So I just flashed the latest (cm-13.0-20160728) and I can't seem to make outgoing calls all of a sudden. I just get "call ended" when I try calling any number. I can send texts though.

Edit: I tried restoring to the backup I made before updating, and calls still don't work. I also tried clearing app data for the dialer and contacts, and tried resetting APN. Still bupkis. Data works, texts work, incoming and outgoing calls don't work at all.

Okay, I think I'm hosed... I just did a clean install of the rom with a complete format and I still can't make calls. How do I fix this??

Edit: I ended up flashing the official CM 12.1 and got calling working again, so I'm gonna stick with that for now.

Okay, so I think I figured out what happened. Somehow, the latest build (cm-13.0-20160728-UNOFFICIAL-wilson3q-i605) changed "mobile network settings" so it was locked to LTE only, and I was unable to switch to anything else from the GUI. Verizon still uses CDMA for voice, so because CDMA was disabled, I couldn't make calls but data and text worked fine. I flashed to vanilla CM12.1 and now I have CDMA+LTE/EVDO back again. I'm not sure if mobile network settings broke because of something in your code or in CM's code, but I'm following up here so you're aware.

I just found a possible solution. I had installed Cyanide Android and then I could not make or receive phone calls on Verizon. I used my other phone on the same rom to determine that it needed to be on VZWINTERNET under settings, cellular networks, then access point names. Who could imagine it would be that easy? I made that change, as it had been on Verizon Internet. After making the change you MUST reboot the phone before it will work. I rebooted after making the change and I can now make and receive calls. Amazing.

Good to know, thanks!! If I have trouble with that in the future I'll keep that possible solution in mind.

Wiped, Advanced wiped, Formatted. Clean install to CM13 with GAPPs 6.0 (stock). Everything seems to be working, biggest issues is I am not receiving calls. I can hear the phone ringing on the other end, but my Note 2 does nothing. I am on Tmobile/GSM. Issues very similar to this post:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63684781&postcount=353

I really want to use the files posted but they are for CM12. Safe to do so?

BTW, I did lose root. I tried enabling it in developer options. Still nothing. I'll try manually install SU in recovery soon.
