Was running this ROM before and was content, but allowed the Verizon OTA lure me away for a while ... while it's wasn't terrible, the battery couldn't compare with this ROM.
Plus, the stuff Verizon decides to omit from their base is just mind boggling  (never mind the BS they decide to add  )

Anywho, just a quick thanks to you Scott! We are lucky (and I am extremely grateful) we have talented devs like yourself able and willing to make ROMs like these available for us ...

Makin' my Notes ...

Played with the new SE version. Still not a fan of having Backup Assistant baked in, and the lack of built in Wifi enable and disable automation means I will be sticking to ACE.

I did like the updated S-note app, it would be nice to see it brought over to ACE. I would think an official update to the international base will include it soon.

Good work on your ROMs once again Scott.

Question... CleanROM 4.9 or CleanROM 3.1 Verizon edition? Is there a difference to anyone's knowledge from a performance or functionality standpoint?

Thanks Scott your ROMS rule the android world!

For the most part, the main differences between the two is that ACE uses the international base 4.1.2 base, and SE uses the Verizon 4.1.2 base. Then there's the baked in Verizon apps on SE, which ACE doesn't have.

From there, it's a matter of preference. Some say SE is better because its a Verizon phone and SE uses a Verizon base, others say that ACE is better. Personally, I've never noticed any difference between the two other than things I mentioned, but I prefer ACE.

Thanks a lot, I was wondering about that, I started using CleanROMs with ACE and seen the Verizon versions and wondered, I have never tested the other, but would be interested to see if there is any performance difference at all.

Thanks for the info!

ACE supports Samsung accounts and Verizon removes that. ACE also fully supports blocking mode and some other stuff that Verizon decided to remove. ACE is also updated more frequently as new software comes out for the n7100. My opinion is if you don't need the Verizon apps, ACE is overall better.
