Have you tried a clean install?

Hi
Yeah that's what's I have tried with the above techniques. Pretty gutted cos when I did load up without happen looked really good.

There was a bug on some of the lollipop and early marshmallow ROMs where you needed to reboot recovery before installing gapps. So try a full wipe, then flash the ROM, reboot recovery, then flash gapps, then reboot system. Make sure you have the latest gapps too as using one that's even a month old can cause problems.

If that doesn't work, I would say you probably need to Odin back to stock and start over. If the stock ROM won't work, then there are other (probably hardware related) issues.

Thanks for the advice. I have tried all above and currently on Vanirasop which is working well so I'll stick with this.

Thanks. Could it be related to f2fs? I haven't reformatted to f2fs but have seen it talked about.

You don't have to have f2fs to use the ROM. I only have my adopted sd card f2fs formatted, and I was able to use this ROM before I adopted the card.

I do know that you can't dirty flash between this and Vanir or any other CM/Lineage ROM. But you didn't do that, so I have no idea. I take it you've checked all your downloads to make sure they aren't corrupted. If so, and you did a full wipe and clean install with the latest gapps, then I have no idea why this ROM would have problems while Vanir would not.

Also id like to know how can i find out which firmware i had as id like to unroot my tab!

You can find you're latest firmware on sammobile.com

I would suggest you go back to stock now, and don't flash another custom ROM until you are willing to read about it first... And I mean, like read about what AOSP is, what the features of different versions are, and then read and understand everything there is in the thread about the ROM you want to flash. Sorry for being a little harsh, but if you had done those things, I doubt you would have chosen to flash this ROM.

But since you didn't do those things, here's the answers to your inquiry.

This ROM is out of date, and no longer being maintained. I assume that you actually meant multi-window, not multitasking. This ROM does multitask, but multi-window is not supported in this version of AOSP.

only concern are the capacitive button stays lit permanently

I think I've tried all solutions to increase my volume listed on this thread but the result was either it's not loud enough or it resets after screen off.

So I manage to find a workaround:

1. Install Alsamixer

2. Install Macrodroid

3. Create a macro with a Trigger = Application Launch = Your default launcher

4. Set the Action = Shell Script with the following command :
alsa_amixer sset 'Speaker Digital' 150

5. Save the macro and enjoy!

This will reset your desire Alsamixer value each time you turn on your screen & run your launcher.. or when I press my Home button to change app.

I tried setting the trigger to "Screen On" or "Screen Unlock" but it didn't work.

Hope it helps!

Keywords: Dolby Atmos, Volume Booster, Viper4Android, Alsamixer

    [ROM][6.0.1] Android 6 - Marshmallow (August 5, 2016) [T700/T705/T800/T805]

    tabs_aosp6.gif

    Android 6.0 Marshmallow coming to a Tab S 8.4/10.5 WiFi & LTE !
    This ROM is for T700, T705, T800 and T805.

It is directly based on vanilla Google Android sources. Real AOSP.

    Download

    Download GApps
    • OpenGApps (Tested with open_gapps-arm-6.0-nano-20160723)
Do not use Stock or higher. Nano is recommended.

    Download SuperSU
    • SuperSu 2.76 (Tested with UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76-20160630161323)

    Prerequisites
    • TWRP 2.8.6.2 or higher. I always use @ashyx newest builds (TWRP builds by @ashyx)
    • Applied bootloader update, e.g. by
      • flashing the stock 5.0(or higher) samsung rom or
      • by applying bootloader directly with odin (Link).

    Instructions
    1. Flash TWRP 2.8.6.2 or higher using odin.
    2. Reboot into recovery. Go into wipe menu. Select "Advanced Wipe". Check
      • Dalvik Cache
      • System
      • Cache
      • Data
and wipe them. Don't reboot just yet.
    3. Go into install.
    4. Flash aosp-XXX.zip
    5. On initial installation it is sometime necessary to Reboot to Recovery. You may try skipping this step if you get GAPPS errors on start. (See Note)
    6. Flash GAPPS.zip
    7. Flash SuperSU.zip
    8. Reboot to System
    9. Check Settings->System Updates (Creates /sdcard/OpenDelta/FlashAfterUpdate)
    10. Copy SuperSu and Gapps zip to /sdcard/OpenDelta/FlashAfterUpdate (If directory does not exist, create) so that they are automatically applied after OTA update. Else your system will be unusable after an OTA!

    Issues
    • No major issues

    Tips'N'Tricks
    • Hearthstone and serveral other Unity games: Enable 4x MSAA in development options else it won't work
    • If you install Gapps after the ROM has been booted for the first time you either need to wipe data or manually delete /data/system/users/0/runtime-permissions.xml and reboot. Without this Gapps will crash constantly. This is due to the new permissions-system in M.

    I like being missed. :cowboy:

Guilty as charged, I've been very naughty this Xmas and went on a vacation. ;)

But fear not, I am back. :D

As one of my new year's resolution is more transparency, here are my next todos:
    • Investigate the DRM issue for google play
    • Fix gps on T705 (Just 2 files are missing)
    • Fix autorotate on MM Note 10.1 (They waited long enough)
    • Port MM to Moto Xoom (They waited even longer)

As you can see, camera is currently not on the list. So don't expect me working on it in the next 2 weeks.

    Update current uploading.
    39
So no baseband at the moment not even wifi. Probably have to wait for the official update for that.
    Good stuff though.
WiFi works fine. I tested 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

Will you ever do something for T700?
Yes, I plan to support T700/T705/T800 as soon as the major issues are solved on T805.
