  • Nearly done! Migration cleanup is mostly done. There are a small number of issues left that we continue to work on, but all the heavy lifting is done. AOSPB

Code:
/*

 * Your warranty is now void.

 *

 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,

 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

What is this AOSPB I keep hearing about?

AOSP is Google's vision of Android. AOSPB is a ROM developer's vision of a strong base to build upon.

I am sharing this only because it feels amazing to use something as bare as this. I'd in fact take a step further and call this as close we get to a stock Marshmallow ROM.

DO NOT MAKE ANY FEATURE REQUESTS. NOTHING ELSE IS GOING TO BE ADDED. (Except for some optimizations in the future)

Downloads:

My Builds

Gapps

Working:

  • RIL
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • Audio
  • Mobile Data
  • USB OTG
  • MTP
  • Hotspot WiFi
  • Pretty much everything

Bugs:
  • Cellular Network Force Closes if system language is not set to US English. (If anyone knows a fix, please PM me or just post it here.)
  • Proximity sensor not working.
  • Auto-Rotate not working.

Installation:

1) Place ROM & GAPPS in internal memory

2) Reboot in Recovery Mode

3) Go to "Recovery" (Vol -) and confirm (Vol +)

4) Wipe Data/Factory Reset

5) Wipe Dalvik cache

6) Install the ROM zip

7) Install the GAPPS zip

8) Reboot

There you go. I'd like to keep this OP as bare as possible ;)

Amazing ROM! The only thing I think could be added is a file manager, as I have been trying an experiment on seeing how feasible it is for me to go without Gapps and some people might like it, but by no means am I saying add it due to this being as pure of a MM rom as can be. I did manage to sideload one so it isn't too much of an issue :p Anyone with the Boost Mobile/Republic Wireless xt1031: do not download this, it will say No SIM. Not an issue for me since it's my mess around backup phone :p Keep up the great work!

I was wondering about something... The cellular network force close was solved a relatively long time ago in CM-based ROMS, right? So the fix does exist, or am I missing something here? ☺

cons:
1. booting takes loooooonng. :)
2. FM missing, or not included.
3. SU not implemented.
4. Messaging missing, or not implemented.
5. No extra controls or useful tweaks implemented.
Pros:
1. Stable
2. Smooth, lagfree.
3. Promising, lol :)
liked it, but as this is alpha, it's too far for daily driver use.

thanks to @Aayushya for developing for falcon.

Clean flashed the Rom with OpenGapps and SU2.65, everything is golden except screen rotation is not working even though I have enabled it in QS and Settings->Assessibility. Anyone else experiencing it as well?

Thanks to @Aayushya for this fantastic rom.

Excellent rom.

This ROM works great :good:, little battery consumption:cool:. The problems of rotation and automatic brightness are not so serious to me. I've used other rom with 6.0.1 and this is really liked.

I'll be waiting for an update, thanks for the ROM.

Sorry for my bad english.
