Performance seems to be a bit of a mixed bag but I'm not sure how much is just the aging hardware of the N7. I daily a OnePlus One and its fine so this thing might be getting old?

I tried some stock AOSP roms when Marshmallow came out and it was okay there
I realize that this won't be a very helpful post, but I was experiencing a lot of lag opening apps, opening the recent screen, etc. Switching the i/o scheduler to row helped some, but it still wasn't as smooth as lollipop (I was using euphoria os before trying this). On the latest CM13 nightly now and the performance is great, a huge difference. Maybe there was a problem with my apps, I don't know. I'm missing all the extra settings though. :(

I'm happy idle is back to what it should be even with WiFi on. I need to figure out what's causing this to feel so slow though, might try flashing a different kernel

New builds went up yesterday, played around with ElementalX kernel (I think that was the one anyway) and it did perform smoother than the CM one.

Also my battery life tanked on this one. I'm starting to think that dirty flashes are causing this and I'm a bit stumped by that.
Did you have any issues with setting custom colours for text/icons etc.?

Thanks.

Edit: By which I mean settings stopped error.

Thanks again.

Be sure to use Wakelock Detector. Ive found some funky wakelocks with this ROM (on the N5X).
Use privacy manager to disable start on boot and/keep awake on unnecessary apps.
Also, it appears that the ockscreen blur and/or lockscreen weather caused a screen wakelock that showed up as a SuperSU wakelock.Screen would stay on, but black. Hard to notice in bright room.

When entering my PIN sometimes the device does not recognize the PIN, and even tells me that it is the wrong PIN. But after the obligatory waiting period when entering the same PIN I can enter immediately. Why?
